Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th, 2021, attack on the Capitol will hold their fifth hearing.
Today’s hearing will focus on the efforts in which Twice Impeached 45 put pressure on the Department of Justice to aid in overthrowing the Federal government.
Like the first hearing, I had a rough idea how to lay this hearing out; the one I’m most excited to see, but then you know what happens, I see something like this…

Yeah, my only concern about 2020’s election, was in what ways was then-only-Once-Impeached 45 going to make my life as a blogger, your lives as a reader, and America’s life–hell.
And boy did I underestimate the hell he was going to unleash on us.
I did not have “attempt to overthrow the government” on my bingo card at the time.
Speaking of Jeff Clark…
Politico says:
Law enforcement officials recently engaged in “activity” in the vicinity of the Virginia home of former top Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark, according to a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C.
That office is leading investigations related to the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021, although the spokesperson declined to link the activity to any individual or probe. The activity came just before Congress’ Jan. 6 select committee was set to begin a public hearing expected to scrutinize Clark and other allies of former President Donald Trump.

Politico also says it was this tweet that first reported the “activity near” Clark’s home.
In between Clark’s tweet from March and the reporting that something happened around his residents. I saw this…

I think the committee so far has pretty much proved that Twice Impeached 45’s intent was indeed to blow up our democracy. It doesn’t matter that that attempted failed–it matters that he was intent on causing it to fail. So, he and his overly large undeserved ego could remain top dog–large and in charge…
Whatever his true reasons for wanting to remain in the White House, the fact is that’s what his goal was to remain in the White House even though he knew he lost the election because everyone told him so…

I’m not sure exactly what Nellie’s point is, cause Marshall’s saying that Impeached 45’s Supreme Court was illegitimate is just an opinion, not actually attempting to overthrow the government.
*shrug*.
I did have another tweet that talked about how “2,000 Mules” proved voter fraud was real, but lots of people have since chimed in and I lost the tweet. But you’re in luck cause Lady Snark took a look at how even the maker of 2,000 Mules, Dinesh D’Souza, says his film doesn’t prove “voter fraud.”

There is some speculation that more hearings will be added to the schedule carrying over into July. Axios says Rep. Raskin hopes that there will be more information provided at today’s hearing.
