TNB Night Owl – Tears for Fears

Here’s yet another group I haven’t listened to in years, that are far better than I remembered. Tears for Fears is one of those acts that make me wonder why they weren’t even more popular at the time than they were.

Formed by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith in 1981, the chart-topping new wave synthesizer band found great success in the mid-eighties. Although Smith and Orzabal had a falling out in the early 90s, they reunited in the early 2000s and have been recording new material and touring ever since.

Their brand new (2022) album, The Tipping Point, is doing very well, ranking #2 in the UK and #8 in the US album charts. The title track from the album is included below.
