Eric Carmen may not be a household name, but you’ll recognize his music. He wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on this playlist except for “Hungry Eyes”, and sang lead on all of these tracks.
The Raspberries formed in 1970, with Carmen as lead vocalist and tune writer, scoring two major and several minor hits. Having run their course, they disbanded in 1975. Eric Carmen went solo, immediately scoring two big singles. He wouldn’t hit gold again until 1987-88 with his final two major hits.
