TNB Night Owl – Toto

A group of studio musicians founded Toto in 1977. As employees of the studio, they were highly skilled in many genres, recording tracks for many big name acts, including Boz Scaggs, Seals and Crofts, Steely Dan, among others. Their talent and ability to play a wide variety of different styles is reflected in their own music.

Of special note to fans of the motion picture Dune, Toto composed and recorded 16 of the 17 tracks in the movie soundtrack. The Dune “Main Title” track is included below, both for fun and to demonstrate Toto’s incredible skill, range, and mastery. The other Dune tracks can be found on YouTube: just search for “Toto Dune”.
