TNB Night Owl – Led Zeppelin, 1968-1969

Remember when the older generations were worried about us kids? Rock music was a big reason why, and Led Zeppelin was rock ‘n’ roll gone wild.

Rock was relatively tame (mostly) prior to 1968, when Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham, got together to form Led Zeppelin. LZ released their first album in January 1969, and the second one nine months later in October.

Zeppelin were prolific creators of memorable tracks. It’s not reasonable to list all of LZ’s many songs in a single Night Owl, so this playlist only features their best work from their first two albums. We’ll breakout their later masterpieces in future episodes.
