TNB Night Owl–Music Metal Monday…

DJ Kitty. Enhanced by Lenny Ghoul.

As you might be aware I watch Disney Streamers and Vogglers; these Disney content creators sometimes have fun little ways to get their views + likes up.

One way these creators have found is to giveaway free shit.

The way it works is they reach a specific number of likes, have those in live chat post a word and then put the names into a hat or wheel and pick a winner.

So, I thought, hey, I could use that for Music Monday; the idea not the keyword for likes and shares.

I found Wheel of Names.com.

This website allows the user to create their own spinning wheel of names for free; yes, there ads.

The drawback is I can’t share my wheel without making video…

So, here it is, my very first YouTube, short or otherwise!

The Wheel of Names picked Metal from the 1960’s…

I did a google and honestly heavy metal or just “metal” music didn’t really rock-on–until the 70’s; some say Born to Be Wild by Steppenwolf released in 1968 was where heavy metals origin story began…

But others say its origins started with Black Sabbath…

With the release of their first song, Evil Woman; recorded in 1969 but not released until January 1970…

I found Ultimate-Guitar.com that posted a top 20 list of “Heaviest Songs of the 60’s”.

I won’t be sharing all 20 songs.

Here are their top 5 picks…

5. The Stooges–I Wanna Be Your Dog (1969):

4. Led Zeppelin–Dazed and Confused (1969):

3. King Crimson–21st Century Schizoid Man (1969):

2. Iron Butterfly–In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (1968):

And their number 1 song is….

1. The Beatles–Helter Skelter (1968):
