Roe v. Wade/Reproductive Rights Tweets
From Monday…
It’s simple. pic.twitter.com/mCFDQ4oI5x
— President Biden (@POTUS) January 22, 2024
Tune in as I convene a meeting of my Task Force on Reproductive Healthcare Access to mark the 51st anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision. https://t.co/ccHQghFi38
— President Biden (@POTUS) January 22, 2024
The YouTube is 12 minutes and 8 seconds long. His full remarks can be found here.
My Administration is fighting to defend women's reproductive rights. But Congress must pass a law restoring the protections of Roe v. Wade.
— President Biden (@POTUS) January 22, 2024
We need the American people to keep making their voices heard.
They will have the final say.
Partly remark related…
My message is: We’re fighting hard to reinstate your rights and the rights to protect women and families and doctors who care for those women.
And we need the American people to keep making their voices heard so congr- — so congressional Republicans finally get the message that these laws do not represent the United States of America.
Your voice will have a final say. This is not over.

My Administration is fighting to protect women in the wake of the Supreme Court’s extreme decision.
— President Biden (@POTUS) January 23, 2024
That includes my Task Force on Reproductive Health Care Access working day in and day out to ensure we are doing everything we can to support access to the care women need. pic.twitter.com/a2KGzigv4f
That’s what I’m working for. I’m working for that law. And when they send me that law, I’m going to sign it immediately and restore that right. Until then, my administration is going to keep working to protect women in the wake of the Supreme Court’s extreme decision.
That’s why I created a task force to ensure we are doing everything we can to support women.
White House.gov. 01/22/2024.
Since the Court overturned Roe v. Wade, every single time reproductive freedom has been on the ballot, voters chose to protect access to abortion.
— President Biden (@POTUS) January 23, 2024
It's time their representatives listened to them. pic.twitter.com/C7sg6rJQ59
The video clip is 11 seconds long.
As I’ve made clear, we have to do what the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs would allow, and that is: Congress must codify Roe v. Wade for all the states in America.
Stop playing politics with the women’s lives and freedom. Let doctors do their job.

Pretty Darn Good Tweet
From Monday…
Consumer sentiment – a measure of how optimistic folks are about our economy – has surged 29% over two months, the biggest jump in three decades.
— President Biden (@POTUS) January 22, 2024
Wages are rising.
So is household wealth.
And we have the lowest inflation rate of any major economy.
Our policies are working. pic.twitter.com/R75PTFEz9b
The video clip is 10 seconds long…
President Biden: The policies are paying off. This is pretty darn good…
“Pretty Darn Good” =’s a CNBC News article posted on 01/19/2024:
Consumer sentiment surges while inflation outlook dips, University of Michigan survey shows:
Consumers have grown more confident about the direction of the economy and inflation at the onset of 2024, despite persistent worries about a looming slowdown, a survey released on Friday showed.
The University of Michigan’s Survey of Consumers showed a reading of 78.8 for January, its highest level since July 2021 and up 21.4% from a year ago. That followed a big jump in December and comes despite public opinion surveys showing concern about the nation’s direction.
On a two-month basis, sentiment showed its largest increase since 1991, said Joanne Hsu, the survey’s director.

Nowhere Coffee Shop Tweet

— President Biden (@POTUS) January 23, 2024

Congressional R’s Voted “NO” Tweet
From Tuesday…
The majority of Republicans in Congress voted against our infrastructure law. But that doesn’t stop them from saying: “We need a project in my district."
— President Biden (@POTUS) January 23, 2024
That's okay. I'm a president for all Americans.
And like I said before – I’ll see them at the groundbreaking. pic.twitter.com/6qeq51cpdK
Yesterday…
I'm proud to announce that Duluth, MN and Superior, WI have received over 1 billion in federal funding to help replace the Blatnik Bridge. This is a HUGE win for #MN08 and I was proud to advocate for these funds! Learn more HERE: https://t.co/S6AZJ9zNw3
— Pete Stauber (@RepPeteStauber) January 22, 2024
I have no doubt that he probably did “advocate” for funds for his district. His problem like other R’s and probably D’s too, is this “advocating” is done behind the scenes, that way they can go on TV and tell us all how terrible the bill is for American’s and how they have no choice but to vote no. This doesn’t stop them from going back months later on TV and bragging about how much they got for their district.
“New” from the White House…
