Investing in America Tweets
From Wednesday…
Tune in as I deliver remarks on my Investing in America agenda. https://t.co/L9XRBg5VFT

Remarks by President Biden on Agreement with Intel for CHIPS and Science Act Award | Chandler, AZ; the YouTube is 27 minutes and 55 seconds long.
Semiconductors are the tiny computer chips smaller than a fingertip that power our everyday lives.
— President Biden (@POTUS) March 21, 2024
We invented them, but over time we moved manufacturing overseas.
I came to office determined to bring their production home.
That's what our CHIPS Act does. pic.twitter.com/pKD2YMN3OX
Folks, during the pandemic, we had to learn about supply chains and the shortage of semiconductors — those tiny computer chips you all out here know very well, smaller than a tip of your finger, that power everything from the lives of your cell phones, cars, dishwashers, satellites, weapons systems.
America invented these chips. Don’t forget that. We invented these chips. And over time — (applause) — some thought it was cheaper to send the manufacturing overseas because labor was cheaper. As a result, when the pandemic shut down chips factories overseas, the prices of everything went up — the first time Americans began to realize just how important they were.
Unlike my predecessor, I was determined to turn things around, to invest in America — in all America and all Americans. And that’s what we’re — been doing. (Applause.)
Remarks by President Biden on Agreement with Intel for CHIPS and Science Act Award. 03/20/2024.
Thanks to my CHIPS Act, America will produce roughly 20% of the world’s leading-edge semiconductors by the end of the decade.
— President Biden (@POTUS) March 21, 2024
And we're going to create tens of thousands of American jobs in the process. https://t.co/JyQh7ryAlQ
It’s going to put us on track to manufacture 20 percent of the leading ch- — world’s leading-edge chips by the end of the decade.
[snip]
And my predecessor and his allies in Congress want to go back. In fact, the vast majority of the team on the other side, my Republican friends, didn’t vote for the CHIPS and Science Act — the majority of them didn’t. And now they’re trying to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act — the most significant action ever on climate — that’s going to create hundreds of thousands of jobs, many of them in their own states and your district, particularly in states like Arizona.

Reproductive Freedom Tweets
From Thursday…
When reproductive freedom was on the ballot, the American people spoke in 2022 and 2023.
— President Biden (@POTUS) March 21, 2024
And we will speak out again.
In its decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court majority wrote: “Women are not without electoral or political power.”
— President Biden (@POTUS) March 21, 2024
No kidding.
Clearly those bragging about overturning Roe v. Wade have no clue about the power of women.
But they found out.
He isn’t wrong.
Women have the power and have said clearly, stay out of our medical decisions–time and time again.
It’s one thing to say “it’s a state right”…
It’s another thing…
When the “state” starts floating the idea that they will punish girls and women for going out of state to receive an abortion or any kind of reproductive care.
When hospitals turn away women having miscarriages because the law is so vague they aren’t sure your “life is in danger” enough for them to provide care.
When Senators and US Reps., start telling us loudly that it’s a “state right” that needs a national abortion ban.
When those same people start telling us that life begins at conception, jeopardizing a families ability to have children at all because IVF clinics are unsure if they can be found liable for murdering babies because a frozen embryo was rejected as not suitable for implantation.
When again, those same people also say there might be a time when birth control needs banned, while also saying that “no fault” divorce is bad.
Reproductive Freedom is truly about more than having the ability to end an unwanted pregnancy…
“New” from the White House…
