Anyhoo, because it’s been super hot here, over the weekend the husband and I watched some movies.

We knew nothing about this movie. It wasn’t bad, a bit strange, but I wouldn’t call it bad. It reminded me of some of M. Night Shyamalan’s work.

Neither of us have ever played the video game before. So, for us, the movie was a decent fantasy movie with an open ended ending. It was not a bad movie.

This movie was watched by a friend of mine, who mentioned it to me. I’ll be honest, I am not the biggest super hero movie fan. Specifically, I really hate origin stories, especially, if it’s “Batman” or “Spiderman” cause how many new ways can we watch either of them become “Batman or Spideman”…
Anyhoo.
This super hero was new to me; I don’t read comics. While the story wasn’t super hard to figure out, the characters were extremely likable. And it really didn’t draw out the origin story. Action packed for the most part, with some really cool special effects.

I can’t really tell you if this was a good movie or not. My husband loves these kinds of movies. I was mostly bored. No offense. But it didn’t suck enough that I was super distracted doing other things.

The daughter and I have finally finished the newest season of Doctor Who on Disney+.
We loved it; it’s really weird in places. There are monsters! And not the same monsters…
I really loved it. I will watch them again, as I usually do cause Doctor Who is fun to unplug with and just watch…
