Post Two from his Temu Twitter…

Speaking of the crash that killed 67 people when an American Airlines Jet and a Black Hawk helicopter collided in mid-air.
Yesterday, we watched as President Shitshow held a presser where he blamed, former President Obama, President Biden, and DEI for the crash…

Well, it turns out that in 2019 the FAA started a pilot program…
FAA Provides Aviation Careers to People with Disabilities (04/11/2019):
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) today announced a pilot program to help prepare people with disabilities for careers in air traffic operations.
A key focus for the FAA’s Office of Civil Rights is to identify specific opportunities for people with targeted disabilities, empower them and facilitate their entry into a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
The FAA will enroll up to 20 people in the Aviation Development Program. They will train for up to one year at 10 Air Route Traffic Control Centers throughout the U.S. The following facilities will participate in the pilot: Minneapolis, Minn., Cleveland, Ohio, Boston, Mass., Denver, Colo., Fort Worth, Texas, Jacksonville, Fla., Seattle, Wash., Memphis, Tenn., Kansas City, Kan., and Salt Lake City, Utah.
The candidates in this program will receive the same rigorous consideration in terms of aptitude, medical and security qualifications as those individuals considered for a standard public opening for air traffic controller jobs. Participants in the program will receive up to one year of experience in an Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) with the potential to be appointed to a temporary ATCS position at the FAA Academy.
Candidates for the Aviation Development Program must meet the following criteria:
FAA Provides Aviation Careers to People with Disabilities (04/11/2019).
- United States citizenship
- The qualification for Schedule A Direct Hiring Authority
- Meet Office of Personnel Management ATC qualification standards
- Pass Air Traffic Skills Assessment (AT-SA) Aptitude test
- *No more than 30 years of age
- Pass a medical/security review
- Be proficient in English
- Education and/or work experience:
– three years of progressively responsible work experience or,
– a bachelor’s degree or
– a combination of post-secondary education and work experience that totals three years.
People who are interested in applying for the pilot program should follow the instructions on the Aviation Development Program website. The website also has a schedule for in-person information sessions.

The link to “targeted disabilities” is broken, but according to the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler (01/30/2025 gift link) this is what the “targeted disabilities” were:
The link under “targeted disabilities” is now dead, but the Wayback Machine retains links from June 2017 and January 2021 that show the page was unchanged during Trump’s tenure. The list included:
Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler (01/30/2025 gift link)
- Hearing (total deafness in both ears)
- Vision (Blind)
- Missing Extremities
- Partial Paralysis
- Complete Paralysis, Epilepsy
- Severe intellectual disability
- Psychiatric disability
- Dwarfism
The June 2019 webpage for the Aviation Development Program (ADP) — also now removed but still visible on the Wayback Machine — said the program “provides an opportunity for Persons with Targeted Disabilities (PWTD) to gain aviation knowledge and experience as an air traffic control student trainee.” Participants would get up to one year of experience in an Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), with a possibility of getting a temporary appointment at the FAA Academy.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins lays it out in the 4 minute and 55 second clip.

President Shitshow doubled down on blaming former President’s by issuing a memo.
Immediate Assessment of Aviation Safety (01/30/2025):
MEMORANDUM FOR THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION
THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION
SUBJECT: Immediate Assessment of Aviation SafetyOn January 29, 2025, a commercial aircraft and a military helicopter horrifically collided near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. American families today woke up without their loved ones after what should have been a routine trip, and the entire Nation mourns the loss of the victims.
This shocking event follows problematic and likely illegal decisions during the Obama and Biden Administrations that minimized merit and competence in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Obama Administration implemented a biographical questionnaire at the FAA to shift the hiring focus away from objective aptitude. During my first term, my Administration raised standards to achieve the highest standards of safety and excellence. But the Biden Administration egregiously rejected merit-based hiring, requiring all executive departments and agencies to implement dangerous “diversity equity and inclusion” tactics, and specifically recruiting individuals with “severe intellectual” disabilities in the FAA.
On my second day in office, I ordered an immediate return to merit-based recruitment, hiring, and promotion, elevating safety and ability as the paramount standard. Yesterday’s devastating accident tragically underscores the need to elevate safety and competence as the priority of the FAA.
Consistent with the Presidential Memorandum of January 21, 2025 (Keeping Americans Safe in Aviation), I am further ordering the Secretary of Transportation (Secretary) and the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (Administrator) to review all hiring decisions and changes to safety protocols made during the prior 4 years, and to take such corrective action as necessary to achieve uncompromised aviation safety, including the replacement of any individuals who do not meet qualification standards. This review shall include a systematic assessment of any deterioration in hiring standards and aviation safety standards and protocols during the Biden Administration.
Consistent with the Presidential Memorandum of January 21, 2025, the Secretary and the Administrator shall take all actions necessary to reverse concerning safety and personnel trends during the prior 4 years, instill an unwavering commitment to aviation safety, and ensure that all Americans fly with peace of mind.

It was also brought to my attention this morning that the usual suspects of hate and stupidity have named Trans army service member Jo Ellis, as the pilot of the Black Hawk that was involved in the incident.
The Pink News.com reports that Twitter account “FakeGayPolitics” was the original poster that said; the pilot of the Black Hawk has been identified as Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW2) Jo Ellis, a transgender woman. Jo Ellis served in the Virginia National Guard for 15 years and transitioned while serving as a pilot. Jo has been making radicalized anti-Trump statements on socials”
Jo Ellis issued a statement:
Jo Ellis has just posted this video on Facebook, confirming to be a "Black Hawk pilot with Virginia National Guard" and not – as many viral social media posts had claimed – linked to the Black Hawk helicopter involved in the crash in Washington DC. https://t.co/GxMoo9ROGh pic.twitter.com/ZHr5NREf20

The post from FakeGayPolitics has been removed.
The Washington Post has posted profiles of some of the victims of the crash.

President Shitshow announced yesterday that he plans to place 25 percent tariffs on both Canada and Mexico. The rumor is they will be announced on Saturday…
Trump: "Mexico and Canada have never been good to us on trade. They've treated us very unfairly on trade. As a reminder…
Since he made the trade deal with Canada and Mexico does that mean, he's calling himself "incompetent"?
