It’s Friday.
President Shitshow’s public schedule for 01/24/2025:
Forth.News; I think a pool reporter named Rob Crilly said via memo that President Shitshow will travel to Asheville, NC, then LA, and then to Las Vegas.
Because our “new” normal is driven by the whims of President Shitshow today’s post is going to be slightly random…
Happening right now, the President of the United States is saying live on TV, he thinks “we’re going to recommend that FEMA go away and we pay directly–we pay a precentage to the states, but the state should fix it”.
Trump on abolishing FEMA: "When there is a problem with a state, I think that that problem should be taken care of by the state. That's what we have states for. They take care of problems." pic.twitter.com/LoL4fIvqPR

Good luck red states!
Side note he’s really hung up on the whole Canada becoming a state thingy…
Trump: I would love to see Canada become the 51st state… the Canadian citizens… would have much better health coverage. I think the people of Canada would like it

If we did that, there would be no tariffs pic.twitter.com/T5wpBd44gz
Moving on…
On President Shitshow’s first day in office he offered an EO to end “birthright citizenship”. It was challenged in court just as soon as he signed it.
On Thursday that EO was blocked temporarily by U.S. District Court Judge John Coughenour. According to AP News, Judge Coughenour said, “I’ve been on the bench for over four decades. I can’t remember another case where the question presented was as clear as this one is. This is a blatantly unconstitutional order.”
Judge Coughenour, 84, Reagan appointee went on to say “I have difficulty understanding how a member of the bar could state unequivocally that this is a constitutional order.”
Asked about the block on the EO, President Shitshow said…
"Obviously we'll appeal it" — Trump on a court striking down his birthright citizenship EO

“Obviously we’ll appeal it. They put it before a certain judge in Seattle, I guess, right? And there is no surprises with that judge.”
I’m gonna wrap there. I had other things planned, but I got distracted with rabbit holes as usual.
