I’m going to be honest with you guys.
This post will be short.
My brain has already gone on vacation mode.
Tomorrow and Monday, I’m off. I’m leaving you in the capable hands of Halodoc, who has my permission both privately and now publicly, to cover whatever the hell she wants too!
I understand that tomorrow is the first of many planned 24-hour Economic Blackout (USA TODAY) days.
I will be spending money tomorrow as we are going to Disneyland. The trip has been planned since December. It’s my mom’s birthday and our tradition to honor her after her passing in 2023.
According to many, we are encouraged to spend if we must, locally, and not at chain stores like Walmart. So, technically, I will be spending locally.
I know there was a cabinet meeting yesterday…
But, given that I must go out in public again this morning; less time than yesterday.
I’m gonna skip it.

As the news spreads of the tariffs the market might start to dip; but today so far, the good economic news of growth is outweighing the bad economic news of tariffs.
At my last check it’s still 300 plus up so far, but was at over 400 plus up, when I check not 5 minutes ago…
Time for a Talk…
As you know, I’ve been struggling with finding a routine in posting. This is because “news” is coming faster than it normally does and President Shitshow has ADHD…
So, here is the question I pose to you the readers.
What would be better for you?
Shorter more often articles to focus on one thing, with the noon thread going away. That means the Owl and the Note would still be “open threads”, with smaller less wordy posts throughout the day.
Or
Keeping the noon thread with filler topics, not just President Shitshow related (after the first 100 days), with smaller less wordy posts to fill other time slots?
We have some time to decide. Since we are only on day 37 of the first 100 days and for now, the noon thread is focused on highlighting those first 100 shitty days.
So, please take the time to consider your opinion and please do not take myself into consideration. I wouldn’t be having this talk, if I thought I couldn’t handle smaller more focused topic posts throughout the day.
