The U.S. broke with European allies and voted alongside Russia on Monday to try to block a U.N. resolution condemning Russia’s war in Ukraine. Regardless, the resolution passed with 93 votes. The U.S. had supported a competing resolution that did not hold Russia accountable for the conflict.
