This week in review…

I’m gonna attempt to review our week; IDK if this will be a Friday thing, but let’s see how it goes this Friday, before we make further plans.

Obviously, the biggest story that dropped this week was SignalGate:

Tuesday we covered the initial drop of the story. On Wednesday, after the admin attempted to dismiss the scandal as a scandal, Editor-in-Chief Jeff Goldberg who had been mistakenly added to a Signal text group that discussed war plans aka attack plans, shared more of the messages he had.

One question that seemed popular for random twitter users to ask on twitter was “how did Jeff make his way into the chat with top President Shitshow’s cabinet members”.

For example:

Another example…

Brace yourselves this will make your eye twitch…

Two replies, one isn’t bad, it’s legit, it’s accurate…

The other reply…

It literally can’t be “anyone”.

You =’s Jeff Goldberg.

I mean, for real.

You won’t know this, but I’ve spent days trying to recall where the hell I saw the name of who might have been the intended person Waltz wanted to include and today, while prepping for this article, I found the name!

Jamieson Greer =’s Ambassador Greer is the 20th United States Trade Representative.

This does track considering they did mention trade in the text messages.

As a result of messages being made public, on March 25th, American Oversight sued Defense Secretary Pete Hegshit. I found the lawsuit via Just Security; their litigation tracker is amazing. The Judge assigned the case was Chief Judge James Boasberg.

Yesterday, Chief Judge Boasberg issued a minute order:

The image text:

MINUTE ORDER: As agreed by the parties in today’s TRO hearing, the Court ORDERS that: 1) Defendants shall promptly make best efforts to preserve all Signal communications from March 11-15, 2025; 2) By March 31, 2025, Defendants shall file a Status Report with declarations setting forth the steps that they have taken to implement such preservation; and 3) This Order shall expire on April 10, 2025, in the event that Defendants’ measures are satisfactory to the Court. So ORDERED by Chief Judge James E. Boasberg on March 27, 2025. (lcjeb3)

While SignalGate was SignalGating, President Shitshow held a Cabinet Meeting, during which he said that the states have been calling the Federal Government to get the data on all the school children that attend their schools.

“They are so anxious, they are calling us”….

The states are who sent the data to the Department of Education about their students, without the state collecting information on students, the federal government wouldn’t have the data at all.

On Sunday, it was reported that SignalGate maker National Security Advisor, Michael Waltz would be traveling to Greenland with Second Lady, Usha Vance, and her son.

U.S. national security adviser Michael Waltz and second lady Usha Vance will travel to Greenland this week. Greenland Prime Minister Múte Egede called the planned visit days before local elections “highly aggressive.”

From the article (WSJ gift link); U.S. national security adviser Michael Waltz and second lady Usha Vance will travel to Greenland this week, the White House said Sunday, further straining relations over President Trump’s improbable vow to acquire the Danish territory “one way or the other.”

For obvious reasons, Greenland’s PM, expressed ire over this visit:

Greenland Prime Minister Múte Egede called the planned visit days before local elections “highly aggressive.” Energy Secretary Chris Wright is also expected to join Waltz, Vance and her son as part of the first high-level U.S. delegation to visit the self-governing island since Trump declared he wanted to take it over from Denmark.

“We are now at a level where it can in no way be characterized as a harmless visit from a politician’s wife,” Egede told the Greenland newspaper Sermitsiaq. “What is the national security adviser doing in Greenland? The only purpose is to demonstrate power over us.”

From the article (WSJ gift link). 03/24/2025.

By Tuesday, when Greenlanders failed to be excited for the visit, the visit was updated.

Washington Post (gift link):

Vice President JD Vance announced on social media Tuesday that he plans to travel to Greenland on Friday, joining a trip already scheduled for his wife, Usha Vance, and other officials.

The addition of the vice president makes for a highly powerful American delegation heading to Greenland, where leaders have been disturbed by President Donald Trump’s desire to acquire the island territory.

Now, however, the itinerary has changed: With the vice president joining, American officials’ attendance at a dogsled race has been swapped for a trip to the U.S. Space Force base that is housed on Greenland. A visit by U.S. officials confined to a U.S. base would typically be construed as less inflammatory than a visit — as had been planned for Usha Vance — more focused on interacting with Greenlandic civilian and political life.

[snip]

In his trip announcement, Vance emphasized the important place in global security that Greenland holds. He is set to visit the Pituffik Space Base, which is the U.S. military’s northernmost installation.

“Speaking for President Trump, we want to reinvigorate the security of the people of Greenland because we think it’s important to protecting the security of the entire world. Unfortunately, leaders in both America and in Denmark, I think, ignored Greenland for far too long. That’s been bad for Greenland; it’s also been bad for the security of the entire world,” Vance said.

“We think we can take things in a different direction, so I’m going to go check it out.”

Washington Post (gift link). 03/25/2025.

The government this week, continued to kidnap people.

Secretary of State Marco “I sold my soul to be here” Rubio says they have revoked the student visa’s of around 300 people. They say Rumeysa Ozturk has ties to Hamas; they provided zero evidence that she has ties to Hamas.

Show more =’s Go back and do it in your country.”

Miami Herald;

On Feb. 4, Reyes Mota, who was living in Tampa, went to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in the city for a required check-in. There, agents informed him that he was being placed in custody under suspicion of being associated with the Tren de Aragua gang, according to his family.

[snip]

At attorney Prada’s request the judge froze Reyes Mota’s asylum case for the time being. That way, he could eventually take it up again. That is, if he is ever able to return to the United States. “We can agree that there was no removal order from this court or another court,” the judge said, noting that there was very little he could do. The U.S. government claims on Reyes Mota’s I-213 form, a document the Department of Homeland Security uses to support that someone is deportable, that he “may be a Tren de Aragua associate.” But in those same documents, the government says he has no criminal records or immigration history in the United States. The government also uses someone else’s last name in several parts of the document, identifies him with female pronouns, and uses two different unique identification numbers that immigration authorities use to keep track of individuals, raising questions about the reliability of Trump officials’ accusations against him.

Check this snip out:

After Prada pointed out the mistakes and argued there is no evidence Reyes Mota was a Tren de Aragua member, the judge asked whether the government had made a mistake. Lawyers for the Department of Homeland Security said this was not a hearing to analyze evidence but that they would look into it. However, there are no more hearings for the foreseeable future.

Miami Herald. 03/27/2025.

Oh, but they will look into it. FFS.

Before they kidnapped people, ICE (the brownshirts nobody asked for) detained a U.S. Citizen:

The ProPublica article is long and contains many names of people arrested or detained for some time, in January, when Border Craz Homan went into Chicago.

The U.S. citizen arrested snip:

Among those released is Julio Noriega, a 54-year-old Chicago man. He was handing out resumes to local businesses in search of work when he was approached by ICE officers in January, according to his witness declaration in the latest Nava filings.

Before he had a chance to explain, Noriega said, the officers placed him in handcuffs and moved him into a van. It wasn’t until after he’d already been taken to an ICE processing center and waited several hours that officers checked his wallet and realized he is a U.S. citizen.

Because I run on the twitter streets I have seen a lot of mass deportation supporters aka MAGA supporters that keep saying “illegals” don’t have rights to due process.

This is false.

While some aliens do not have any rights, illegal aliens, a government term that should die in fire, are entitled to due process. The supreme court says so, with the addition that some cases can bypass those rights.

Who is Hayes you ask, well…

I could continue the kidnapping and violations of rights all day long. These things are happening now, they are happening here, so miss me with the shit “it can’t happen here” or like one twitter user has suggested…

Not to be left out of being shitty our White House Twitter account posted this…

They are not serious people, that are sick fucks getting off on power.

And no, I don’t suddenly love drug dealers, lock them up, but you do not and should not as a government agency make fun of people being arrested.

One of the reasons, is that above tweet might be part of the reason, a criminal goes free.

Serious issues need to be taken serious by those in charge.

Also happening this week was tariffs, we did manage to cover those yesterday

Earlier today President Shitshow posted this via “Lies Social”…

Notice the tone change in how he talks about Canada?

Yesterday, Canadian PM Mark Carney said that our friendship is “over”.

April 2nd, will be “liberation” day everyone…

It’s the day where President Shitshow announces the U.S. will be placing tariffs on all countries that import items here.

I said he doesn’t know what liberation means, but maybe he means, our wallets will be liberated from any money!

In news for Tony and baseball fans around the Blender!
