BREAKING:

SCOTUS's conservative supermajority finds, "Universal injunctions likely exceed the equitable authority that Congress has given to federal courts," rolling back the ones that protected birthright citizenship. https://t.co/IIjVap5s3p
"No right is safe in the new legal regime the Court creates. … Because I will not be complicit in so grave an attack on our system of law, I dissent." pic.twitter.com/n5NNE7uFXt

My favorite former Immigration Attorney said this…
SUPREME COURT STRIKES DOWN NATIONWIDE INJUNCTIONS.
— Aaron Reichlin-Melnick (@ReichlinMelnick) June 27, 2025
However, the Court emphasizes that they are NOT deciding on the question of birthright citizenship, and makes clear the executive order will not take effect for 30 days, which will give time to stop it through other means. https://t.co/wqllDw2DFy pic.twitter.com/GYLTOhQ87P
I have not read the order; I have skimmed the order.
The wannabe dictator — also known as our President — has kicked off his self-congratulatory victory lap on Lies Social, where delusion meets celebration and reality’s been placed on indefinite leave.

It never fails — President “Constitution? What Constitution?” manages, yet again, to show utter contempt for the very document he took an oath to protect. But hey, maybe he thought the oath was just a vibe check — or worse, a suggestion.
President Perfect, at the center of his own fantastical narrative, along with his loyal supporters, has voiced his opinion on today’s supreme’s ruling.
Here he lies a bunch of times.
Trump: "Thanks to this decision, we can now promptly file to proceed with numerous policies that have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis, and some of the cases we're talking about would be ending birthright citizenship, which now comes to the fore. That was meant for the… pic.twitter.com/RCmj72GV8Q

Our AG aka Cult President Member Sucker number 1, Pam Bondi, is really dumb.
Bondi: "Birthright citizenship will be decided in October, in the next session by the Supreme Court. Unless it comes down in the next few minutes. I guess it could come down. They are still deliberating on some cases. As you heard we just got transgender books, which is a huge… pic.twitter.com/BwkacAzXsZ

They are all delusional.
FYI’s…
FOLKS: It's very possible that nothing has changed re: nationwide injunction on birthright citizenship. While the court broadly limited nationwide injunctions, it said states may still be entitled to them if it's necessary for complete relief.

Two of the birthright cases were…
Show more =’s Two of the birthright cases were brought by states, who argued they needed nationwide relief because patchwork citizenship rules would be devastating when people move from state to state. If district courts agree, then the nationwide injunctions will remain in place.
This is a lie (as usual). While I disagree with the decision, IT LEAVES THE INJUNCTIONS OF THE BIRTHRIGHT EO IN PLACE, just narrows them to the plaintiffs. It doesn't limit nationwide class actions which will be filed to achieve identical outcomes. The EO remains unconstitutional pic.twitter.com/MOO7VmNZYh
