All eyes are on the Senate as they slog through another vote-a-rama-drama — a ritual that will mean absolutely nothing by the end of the day, when the job-killing, dumpster-fire bill inevitably squeaks through, thanks to Vice President Eyeliner showing up sometime between late Monday and moral collapse to cast the tie-breaking vote.
The #Senate has convened…following any leader remarks the "vote-a-rama" on H.R. 1 will begin….

We will be tracking every vote, noting the results and party switchers, both here and on our website:https://t.co/5ORiJjQ0KJ follow along!
It’s been a long, winding road to vote-a-rama-drama, with President Shitposter treating us to a nonstop feed of mixed all-caps-and-regular-text threats aimed at co-equal branches of government — like he’s live-posting a nervous breakdown in real time, one chaotic formatting choice at a time.

Looks like Senator Thom Tillis, as usual, wants to tell the Nation that he’s giving them a 68% Tax Increase, as opposed to the Biggest Tax Cut in American History! At the same time, he is unable to understand the importance of a Debt Extension, which Republicans gave to the Democrats just prior to the November 5th Election, because of its significance, and how important it was for the future of the U.S.A. Sadly, the Democrat Politicians probably won’t reciprocate on a Debt Extension because they’re nasty people who actually hate our Country. Tillis is also willing to throw the very important Tobacco Industry in North Carolina, “out the window,” for reasons nobody seems to understand. He loves China made windmills that will cost a fortune, ruin the landscape, and produce the most expensive Energy on Earth. I can’t believe that the Great People of North Carolina, a State that I love and won all three times, and a State that I just brought back with money, blood, sweat, and tears, from the recent tragic floods, when Sleepy Joe Biden let them DROWN, right up until the end of that Administration, without doing anything — I was given an A+ Rating for the job we did in bringing it back, and Tillis, despite being a Republican, was MISSING IN ACTION — North Carolina will not allow one of their Senators to GRANDSTAND in order to get some publicity for himself, for a possible, but very difficult Re-Election. America wants Reduced Taxes, including NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, AND NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY, Interest Deductions on Cars, Border Security, a Strong Military, and a Bill which is GREAT for our Farmers, Manufacturers and, Employment, in general. Thom Tillis is making a BIG MISTAKE for America, and the Wonderful People of North Carolina!
Fuck Trump and Republicans. 06/28/2025.
Saturday (06/28/2025 @10:01 PM D.C., time):

President Tantrum got his way (shocker), as usual, when Senator Thom Tillis announced on Sunday that he won’t be seeking re-election — presumably deciding that retirement was easier than pretending to enjoy being politically waterboarded for another term. Because who actually signs up for more of that fun?

He spent 11 minutes explaining why he was a “no” on the vote to move the Dumpster Fire bill forward. He isn’t wrong—this bill is a disaster. The real issue? Since President Toddler rode down the golden escalator in 2015, no one’s had the guts to stand up to him… until, of course, they stop needing his endorsement or votes. Courage seems to be on backorder till then.

The facts matter. The people matter. The Senate’s Medicaid approach breaks promises and will kick people off of Medicaid who truly need it. The Senate can make one simple fix to make sure that won’t happen. pic.twitter.com/zvW1AgCxBF

President Toddler celebrated the “great news” that Republicans were losing a safe Senate seat by posting about it on “Lies Social.” Because nothing says “I’m winning” like gloating over your own party’s misfortune on a platform known for, well, its… let’s say, creative approach to truth.

I can go on, there is more.
But, we are cutting to the chase:

"Enten shared five recent polls that show the bill is underwater by between 19 and 29 points." https://t.co/fzFUuXhu06
She moves on to discuss how Senator Sanders hates the bill.
I found Harry Enten’s poll breakdown via YouTube.
His part of the clip is the first 3 minutes; it switches to more details on the bill and talks about Senator Tillis retirement.
Enten explains that he slogged through historical data to try and find a bill likely to pass the Senate, because Republicans are a bunch of fucking cowards (my words, not his), as unpopular with the public as the One, Big, Beautiful Bill—and he says he didn’t find one.
I mean that’s where we are today.
Republicans are gonna pass this horrible bill send it back to the House where Haley Talbot will run her “BIG MAD” spreadsheet and we will watch in real time as they cave to please their dear fucking leader.

Show more =’s Video cuts off just as daughter begs, “Call the police.” “And because they might have been law enforcement, I wasn’t even sure whether to call the police.” Jillian Reed did end up calling 911—reporting what she thought was a possible kidnapping. Rosalina Luna Vargas was eventually taken into custody despite her 2 children’s best efforts. After inflicting all of that trauma—ICE later admit they arrested the wrong person by mistake in the first place. Told the family they had just been “in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris issued a statement—emphasizing that local police did not assist ICE in the arrest.

Awful: A 75-year-old man just died in ICE custody, ICE has revealed in a notice to Congress.
— Greg Sargent (@GregTSargent) June 30, 2025
But here's the rub: This man, a Cuban, was first paroled into the US in 1966—nearly 60 years ago! They were set to deport him anyway.
Details in my new piece:https://t.co/oILpWCZlzO
Apparently, having drug charges from the 1980’s was enough to get the guy removed. But instead of removing him, he’s now dead.
In the article that wasn’t paywalled for me; I didn’t even have to give up my email this time, they explain: Perez appears to be the twelfth person to die in ICE custody this fiscal year, an increase over previous years. According to the notification, he was in detention at the Krome detention center in Miami, which is already coming under scrutiny, after two deaths there this year. Krome is where migrants recently lined up to spell out “S.O.S.” in the yard, highlighting growing concerns about detention conditions.
The article does not accuse ICE of causing the death of Perez. It does ask the question why the hell was Perez detained at all.
And if this bill passes like it’s on track to do, they will get worse, not better.

Gunman set blaze before fatal ambush on Idaho firefighters, police say https://t.co/tKEgwcccxS

A gunman intentionally started a blaze and then ambushed responding firefighters, killing two, in a prolonged attack over several hours Sunday that also wounded another in a mountainous area of northern Idaho, authorities said.
Kootenai County Sheriff Robert Norris said during a news conference Sunday night that the body of the suspected attacker had later been found near the scene of the assault, with a firearm nearby, after authorities used cellphone data to home in on his location.
“We do believe that the suspect started the fire. We do believe that it was an ambush and it was intentional,” Norris said, adding that the response operation involved about 300 law enforcement officials. Two helicopters with snipers were also pressed into service, and authorities said they did not think there were other casualties.
