NBC News reports that the President’s trip to the Federal Reserve is to inspect the ongoing renovation of the building. They note that this is the first presidential visit since George W. Bush toured the facility in 2006, when Ben Bernanke was sworn in as Federal Reserve Chairman. According to the report, only two presidents before Bush had visited the Federal Reserve: “Gerald Ford in 1975 and Franklin D. Roosevelt to inaugurate the building in 1937.”

Right, sure Jan. President Economically Challenged just randomly decided to pop by the Fed—nothing to do with their upcoming interest rate decision. Nope. Just another wholesome field trip.

As you know, I moderate for a TikTok live creator. Over the past week, the shows have been flooded with MAGA commenters in the chat claiming that only “D’s” are on the Epstein list and that “Obama, your boy, is going to jail.”

The DOJ is expected to meet today with Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking.

Blanche arrived at the federal courthouse around 9 a.m. ET. He shook his head and said “no” when asked if he had anything to say ahead of his meeting with Maxwell.

Maxwell’s attorneys were also seen entering the federal courthouse in Tallahassee.

“We’re looking forward to a productive day,” David O. Markus, Maxwell’s appellate lawyer, told ABC News. He declined further comment.

Bottom line: MAGA can whine all they want, but the Epstein story isn’t going away—they made it a core issue. As for former President Obama going to jail over something that never happened — it’s not going to happen.

In today’s episode of “Sure, That Happened,” DNI Tulsi Gabbard has released documents she claims prove that in 2016, then-President Obama attempted a coup against President-Elect Trump 1.0. Yes, you read that right.

Among her greatest hits this morning: telling Charlie “I’m a White Nationalist Piece of Shit” Kirk that peaceful transfers of power are fundamental to our country. The irony is so thick you could bottle it and sell it as satire — or at least ship it to The Onion for royalties.

From the same crowd that insists feeding hungry kids and giving healthcare to the poor is just too expensive, Press Barbie has now announced a brand-new “strike force” to investigate Tulsi Gabbard’s fanfiction-level accusations against former President Obama. Priorities, obviously.

The Justice Department has formed a “strike force” to assess the evidence publicized by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard relating to former President Barack Obama and his top national security and intelligence officials’ alleged involvement in the origins of the Trump–Russia collusion narrative.

The Department of Justice (DOJ), Wednesday evening, announced the formation of the “strike force,” to investigate potential next legal steps which may stem from Gabbard’s recent declassification of records suggesting that Obama administration officials “manufactured” intelligence to form the narrative that then-candidate Donald Trump was colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Not to be outdone by the newly announced “Strike Force” — because apparently everything has to sound like a low-budget action flick with a flag draped over it — Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) alongside Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), tweeted their deeply patriotic feels, insisting that for the “good of the country,” the DOJ must appoint a special counsel to re-investigate the same pile of political compost that’s already been sifted through a dozen times.

There was no shortage of evidence pointing to collusion between Team Trump 2016 and Russia. But as everyone kept reminding us, what wasn’t there was conspiracy against the United States. And like it or not, collusion isn’t actually a crime — conspiracy is.
