Second Feature: Green Acres: S2 E6 – One Of Our Assemblymen Is Missing
Oliver takes to his soap box, delivering fiery, patriotic speeches after getting a bill from the State Farm Unattached Duty Tax. The tax is an outrageous $12.03! The thing is, no one in all of Hooterville knows why the tax was levied in the first place. To sort things out Oliver tries to contact his local assemblyman, seeking better representation at state government level. That’s when he learns Hooterville hasn’t held a local election for a state representative since 1922. Aghast that something this patriot egregious has been going on so long, Oliver and Lisa travel to the state capital to meet the governor and remedy the situation…or not.
