TNB Night Owl: My Top 31 Soundtrack Movie Countdown!

Good Morning, Blenders!
Day 6 takes us to Vietnam, where there’s Nowhere to Run from the laughs and the heartbreak of the Vietnam War — all seen through the eyes (and voice) of Armed Forces Radio DJ Adrian Cronauer, portrayed by the late and irreplaceable Robin Williams.

The Good Morning, Vietnam soundtrack is stacked with ‘60s soul and rock classics — Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, James Brown, Them, and The Beach Boys — intercut with clips of Robin Williams doing what only he could do behind the mic. It’s funny, jarring, bittersweet, and unforgettable — just like the film.

I’ll be linking to each soundtrack’s Wikipedia page if you want to dig deeper, rediscover the track listings, or argue with your own memory of what played during that prom scene.

And don’t worry — this won’t be the last time we visit movie soundtracks. 🎶
