Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are meeting this morning with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen and his Greenlandic counterpart Vivian Motzfeldt. The meeting as NBC News Reports is aimed at easing tensions between the US and Greenland. Greenland has already told the US it’s not for sale, and has no desire to be part of the US.

This morning President Nitwit posted the following messages on “Lies Social”.

On the 9th of January President Nitwit told reporters that he’d like to get Greenland the easy way but he’s willing to do it the hard way.

President Nitwit:

I would — I would like to make a deal, you know, the easy way, but if we don’t do it the easy way we’re going to do it the hard way.

And I’m a man — and by the way, I’m a fan of Denmark, too. I have to tell you. And I — and you know, they’ve been very nice to me. Uh, I’m a big fan, but you know, the fact that they had a boat land there 500 years ago doesn’t mean that they own the land. Uh, I’m sure we had lots of boats go there also

But we need that because if you take a look outside of Greenland right now, there are Russian destroyers, there are Chinese destroyers and bigger. There are Russian submarines all over the place. We’re not going to have Russia or China occupy Greenland, and that’s what they’re going to do if we don’t. So we’re going to be doing something with Greenland either the nice way or the more difficult way.

Well, that’s their problem. That’s their problem. I disagree with him. I don’t know who he is, don’t know anything about him, but that’s going to be a big problem for him.

The ICE agent that murdered Reene Good in Minnesota reported suffered internal bleeding as a result of the incident according to US officials.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition. 

It was unclear how extensive the bleeding was. CBS News has reached out to the Department of Homeland Security for more information and has not yet received a reply. This story will be updated as we learn more.

US Military is evacuating some personnel from an air base in Qatar.

The U.S. military is evacuating an unspecified number of nonessential personnel from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar as a precautionary measure while President Trump weighs ordering military action over the protests in Iran.

The Pentagon began moving some personnel out of the sprawling air base because of the rising tension between the United States and Iran over the Tehran government’s crackdown against protesters there, according to two U.S. military officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss operational matters.

The Qatari government said in a statement that the evacuations “are being undertaken in response to the current regional tensions.” The Pentagon’s Central Command declined to comment.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Mr. Trump told Iranians demonstrating against their government that “help is on its way,” a signal he may soon intervene.
