It’s Wednesday…

President Shitshow’s public schedule for…

01/28/2026:

Propaganda Barbie:

Those scheduled to attend his remarks:

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, also known as “the reason people want to eat the rich,” previewed the event:

Ahead of his remarks, the Potato took to Lies Social to announce that a massive “Armada” was heading to Iran, that the NFL’s “Sissy Kickoff Rule” robbed Bill Belichick of the Hall of Fame, that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is “PLAYING WITH FIRE,” and that the S&P 500 hitting 7,000 proves “AMERICA IS BACK!!!” War, football, immigration threats, and market bragging before breakfast.

Iran needs to make a deal!

Things I don’t like should be overturned!

Sources told ESPN that “Bill Belichick, the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach, is not a first-ballot Hall of Famer.”

The sources went on to say:

Polian denied he said in an interview with ESPN; In an interview with ESPN on Tuesday night, Polian denied telling fellow voters that Belichick should serve a one-year penance for Spygate. He said he heard his fellow voters “float that idea” but insisted he didn’t agree or disagree with the proposal. Polian said he voted for Kraft and even spoke up on his behalf during the deliberations, saying Kraft had no knowledge of the Spygate scheme. Polian added that he could not remember with 100% certainty if he voted for Belichick, saying he was 95% sure he voted for the coach and a player, “most likely” Greenwood.

“Should be overturned”.

I don’t care that the Potato weighed in on the NFL Hall of Fame snub. My issue is with the idea that it “should be overturned.” Just because you don’t like an outcome doesn’t mean it’s criminal, that someone should be jailed, or that reality itself needs to be reversed. That’s a child’s understanding of how the world works. Which, frankly, tracks with the current Potato cosplaying as President.

“PLAYING WITH FIRE!”

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said:

I plan on doing a timeline of the events that unfolded in Minnesota; I just haven’t had the ability to gather all the needed parts to that timeline.

Yesterday, during a town hall event Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was sprayed with some unknown substance by an asshole.

She’s fine.

Asked during an phone interview with ABC News about the attack Potato said she faked the attack: “I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud,” Trump said. “She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.”

The man has been arrested.

The stock market is the only market that matters!

The dollar is in a bear market, market watchers said on Wednesday, as one warned the weaker greenback is a “double-edged sword” for the U.S. economy.

Tuesday saw the dollar suffer its worst one-day slide since April — when Trump’s so-called “liberation day” announcements sparked what became known as the sell America trade. The decline came after the president told reporters in Iowa he believes the dollar is “doing great.”

The U.S. dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of major rivals, has shed 2.2% so far this year, after falling more than 9% in 2025.

CNBC.com. 01/28/2026.

Asked yesterday if the value of dollar has declined too much he said “no”, adding “I think it’s great”.

Potato:

No, I think it’s great. I mean, the value of the dollar, look at the business we’re doing. No, the dollar’s doing great.

You know, it’s very interesting. If you look at China and Japan, I used to fight like hell with them because they always wanted to devalue their yen. You know that, the yen and the yuan. They’d always want to devalue it. They devalue, devalue, devalue. And I said, “Not fair that you devalue, because it’s hard to compete when they devalue.” But they always fought back, No, our dollar is very good.

United Parcel Service on Tuesday announced that it was planning to eliminate an additional 30,000 jobs this year as part of winding down its partnership with Amazon and a multiyear turnaround plan.

CFO Brian Dykes said on a call with analysts Tuesday following the company’s quarterly earnings release that UPS plans to reduce total operational hours by approximately 25 million associated with the Amazon decline.

“In terms of variable costs, we expect to reduce operational positions by up to 30,000,” Dykes said. “This will be accomplished through attrition, and we expect to offer a second voluntary separation program for full-time drivers.”

UPS also said it has identified 24 buildings for closure in the first half of 2026, with additional closures possible later in the year. Last year, UPS closed 93 buildings, it reiterated Tuesday.

The company is also planning to “further deploy automation” across its network, according to Dykes.

Amazon said Wednesday it was slashing another 16,000 jobs across the company in an ongoing bid to restructure the sprawling trillion-dollar firm.

“The reductions we are making today will impact approximately 16,000 roles across Amazon, and we’re again working hard to support everyone whose role is impacted,” Amazon’s senior vice president of people experience Beth Galetti said in a memo to employees.

“That starts with offering most US-based employees 90 days to look for a new role internally,” she said. Amazon will “continue hiring and investing in strategic areas and functions that are critical to our future.”

Galetti said the cuts would “strengthen our organization by reducing layers, increasing ownership, and removing bureaucracy.”

In October, Amazon cut 14,000 jobs primarily at the corporate level. At the time, Galetti cited AI as being the “most transformative technology we’ve seen since the internet.”

[snip]

It said on Tuesday that it would close some of its Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh physical stores, planning to convert some into Whole Foods Market stores.

While AI was not explicitly cited in Wednesday’s note to Amazon workers, the cuts come as workers nationwide brace for the impact of artificial intelligence in a sluggish labor market.

Companies have started citing “efficiency” as they pursue the implementation of AI.

But sure “AMERICA IS BACK” because investors are getting richer.
