TAMPA, Fla. – As of 4 pm ET, March 2, six U.S. service members have been killed in action. U.S. forces recently recovered the remains of two previously unaccounted for service members from a facility that was struck during Iran's initial attacks in the region.…

Day 2 opened with Secretary of Defense Pete “War’s Just Like the Movies” Hegshit holding a press conference, flanked by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
It’s not regime change but it is regime change:
Hegseth: "It turns out the regime who chanted 'death to America' and 'death to Israel' was gifted death from American and death from Israel. This is not a so-called 'regime change war,' but the regime sure did change." pic.twitter.com/ekdHGHod5Z

War crimes are cool.
Hegseth: "Israel has clear missions as well for which we are grateful. Capable partners are good partners, unlike so many of our traditional allies who wring their hands and clutch their pearls, hemming and hawing about the use of force … no stupid rules of engagement." pic.twitter.com/j7YsjmHhg3

Cameo appearance by Gen. Dan Caine:
Yes three of our F-15E’s were shot down by friendly fire.
Caine: "I am aware of the loss of 3 US Air Force F-15Es overnight in the region. I am grateful for the safety of the crews and we know this was not from hostile enemy fire. As this matter is under investigation, I'll not comment further on this." pic.twitter.com/gwjtqktymO

Wall Street Journal (live updates full text–03/02/2026):
The three U.S. F-15 jet fighters mistakenly shot down in Kuwait come at a steep price. The F-15E Strike Eagle model, which the U.S. said was involved in the incident, costs $31.1 million, according to a U.S. Air Force fact sheet. That price uses 1998 constant dollars, meaning its value would be higher in today’s money.
The F-15E Strike Eagle is a fighter introduced in the 1980s and designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. Newer models of the F-15 aircraft cost close to $100 million.

Don’t kill Americans, or else; unless you are ICE then you can murder American’s on American soil at will.

Not to be outdone by his Secretary of Movie Wars Are Cool, Draft Dodger presided over a Medal of Honor ceremony yesterday and began by discussing the new war he initiated, despite years of pledging there would be no new wars.
The White House YouTube Feed is (41 minutes and 32 seconds long).
Bores Easily (3:01-9:01):
So before we begin this important ceremony — and there’s no ceremony that can be much more important than this — let me provide a brief update on Operation Epic Fury. Today, the United States military continues to carry out large-scale combat operations in Iran to eliminate the grave threats posed to America by this terrible terrorist regime.
Following our obliteration of Iran’s nuclear program in Operation Midnight Hammer a short while ago, we warned Iran not to make any attempt to rebuild at a different location because they were unable to use the ones we so powerfully blew up, but they ignored those warnings and refused to cease their pursuit of nuclear weapons.
In addition, the regime’s conventional ballistic missile program was growing rapidly and dramatically, and this posed a very clear colossal threat to America and our forces stationed overseas. The regime already had missiles capable of hitting Europe and our bases both local and overseas, and would soon have had missiles capable of reaching our beautiful America.
The purpose of this fast-growing missile program was to shield their nuclear weapon development and make it extraordinarily difficult for anyone to stop them from making these highly forbidden by us nuclear weapons. We were the ones that were complaining, we were the ones that wanted it stopped, but everybody was behind us, they just didn’t have the courage to say.
So an Iranian regime armed with long-range missiles and nuclear weapons would be an intolerable threat to the Middle East, but also to the American people. Our country itself would be under threat and it was very nearly under threat. I was very proud to have knocked out the Iran nuclear deal by President Barack Hussein Obama.
That was a horrible, horrible, dangerous document. They would have had nuclear weapons three years ago and they would have used them, but I’ll not let that happen. For almost 47 years, this regime has been attacking the United States and killing Americans. Every time you see someone with missing arms and legs or a face that’s been absolutely shattered violently, it was almost certainly caused by an Iran roadside bomb.
They were put there by General Soleimani, who was the father of the roadside bomb, very proudly, he thought, but I terminated him in my first term. This was our last best chance to strike what we’re doing right now and eliminate the intolerable threats posed by this sick and sinister regime, and they are indeed sick and sinister.
Our objectives are clear. First, we’re destroying Iran’s missile capabilities, and you see that happening on an hourly basis, and their capacity to produce brand-new ones — and pretty good ones they make. Second, we’re annihilating their navy. We’ve knocked out already 10 ships. They’re at the bottom of the sea.
Third, we’re ensuring that the world’s number one sponsor of terror can never obtain a nuclear weapon, never going to have a nuclear weapon. I said that from the beginning, they’re never going to have a nuclear weapon. They were on the road to getting one legitimately through a deal that was signed foolishly by our country.
And finally, we’re ensuring that the Iranian regime cannot continue to arm, fund, and direct terrorist armies outside of their borders. And we thought we had a deal, but then they backed out, and they came back and we thought we had a deal and they backed out. I said, you can’t deal with these people, you’ve got to do it the right way.
Today we grieve for the four heroic American service members who have been killed in action and send our love and support to their families. In their memory, we continue this mission with ferocious, unyielding resolve to crush the threat this terrorist regime poses to the American people. And a threat, indeed it is. We have the strongest and most powerful by far military in the world and we will easily prevail.
We’re already substantially ahead of our time projections. But whatever the time is, it’s OK. Whatever it takes, we will always — and we have right from the beginning — we projected four to five weeks, but we have capability to go far longer than that. We’ll do it. Somebody said today, they said, oh, well, the president wants to do it really quickly; after that, he’ll get bored.
I don’t get bored. There’s nothing boring about this — do you agree with that, Pete? I don’t think there’s anything boring about it. Mr. General? I think there’s nothing boring about it. Somebody actually said from the media, I think he’ll get bored after about a week or two. No, we don’t get bored. I never get bored.
If I got bored, I wouldn’t be standing here right now. I guarantee you that, to go through what I had to go through. We also projected for weeks to terminate the military leadership.
And as you know, that was done in about an hour. So we’re ahead of schedule there by a lot. But please join me in thanking every American service member who bravely is standing in harm’s way. They really are incredible. And I just want to thank you. We have a lot of them right here. Thank you very much.

6 minutes and 2 seconds or 858 words to speak to the American people about a new war that he started before he slipped back into type and focused on important issues, like the drapes and his new vanity project the ballroom nobody asked for.
Trump: "See that nice drape? When that comes down right now you see a very very deep hole, but in about a year and half you're gonna see a very very beautiful building. Liar that Lies:
See that nice drape — when that comes down, right now you see a very, very deep hole, but in about a year and a half from now, you’re going to see a very, very beautiful building.
And there’s your entrance to it right there. In fact, it looks so nice, I don’t think I’ll even — I think I’ll save money on the doors because it can’t get more beautiful than that. I picked those drapes in my first term. I always like gold. But I think we can save a lot of money. I just saved — I just saved curtains.
But now for the reason that we’re gathered this morning.
But it will be spectacular, be the most beautiful ballroom. I believe it’s because I built many a ballroom. I believe it’s going to be the most beautiful ballroom anywhere in the world. And when you hear all that hammering out there, you know why the First Lady is not thrilled exactly.
She said, will the pile drivers ever stop? You know they go from six in the morning till 11:30 in the evening. Can you imagine? You hear? You know what, to me that’s a beautiful sound. She doesn’t like it. I love it. You know what, to me — other than here because we’re donating it — not a penny to the taxpayer.
It’ll be under budget, ahead of schedule. It’ll be $400 million or less. Most people say $400 million or more. No, it’ll be less. But when I hear that sound, that beautiful sound behind me, it means money so I like it, but my wife isn’t thrilled. She said this is getting crazy. I said, don’t worry about it. We’ll be all finished up in a few months.
But now for the reason that we’re gathered this morning.

Our objectives in war remain unclear at this time because this admin sucks so bad.
The day of the attack we were told it was to prevent a nuclear Iran after we obliterated their capabilities back in June of 2025. The talking point moved again telling us we are finally finishing a war that has been ongoing for 47 years.
The final shift…
Rubio: I’ve been asked: why now? One reason why is it was abundantly clear that if Iran came under attack by anyone, the United States or Israel or anyone, they were going to respond and respond against the United States.

The U.S. Embassy reminds U.S. citizens of the continued need for caution and increased personal security awareness – including knowing the location of the nearest shelter in the event of a red alert as security incidents, such as mortar, rocket, and missile fire, and unmanned aircraft system (UAS) intrusions, often take place without any warning. The security environment is complex and can change quickly.
In response to security incidents and without advance notice, the U.S. Embassy may further restrict or prohibit U.S. government employees and their family members from traveling to certain areas of Israel (including the Old City of Jerusalem) and the West Bank.
U.S. citizens can find additional information regarding steps to take in case of mortar and rocket fire and hostile aircraft intrusion in the Country Information for Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza:
Mortar and Rocket Fire or Hostile Aircraft Intrusion: In the event of mortar or rocket fire or Hostile Aircraft Intrusion, a “red alert” siren may be activated. Treat all such alerts as real. Follow the instructions from local authorities and seek shelter immediately. Know the location of your closest shelter or protected space. U.S. government personnel and their family members may be restricted from traveling to areas affected by rocket activity, sirens, and/or the opening of bomb shelters. For additional information on appropriate action to take upon hearing a siren or explosion, see the Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command website (available on devices within Israel) or view the Preparedness Information. U.S. citizens may also wish to download the free Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command application on Android or Apple devices to receive real-time security and safety alerts. Free commercial applications, such as Red Alert: Israel, are also available.
