Today would have been my parents’ 64th wedding anniversary.
I don’t know if they ever had an official song. If they did, Mom never mentioned it. She mostly tolerated music while Dad was the one with favorite artists and records.
Still, after 64 years together, it seemed fitting to dedicate tonight’s Night Owl to them and a few songs that remind me of the era they grew up in and the music that was always around.
