Just what I always wanted. A televised competition to see which so-called adult can polish their cult leader’s knob the fastest, broadcast from the presidential retreat where world leaders have negotiated wars and peace.
Yesterday, Puddle tried to dominate the news cycle by posting this on Lies Social.
I watched for over an hour, and there were no 🚨BREAKING NEWS headlines. No frantic tweets.
This morning, Al Jazeera explained what we know about the deal so far.
The Board of Peace later released a joint statement with the mediating countries.
Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas’s negotiating delegation, told Al Jazeera that the group’s implementation of the agreement will be dependent on Israel fulfilling its commitments.
“Hamas will not implement any step of the Gaza peace deal if the Israeli occupation forces do not fulfil their obligations under the agreement,” he said. “Israel will not interfere in the disarmament issue and the national committee is the one that will carry out this task.”
Israel has not commented on the agreement.

CNN’s live updates noted that PM Bibi Netanyahu has remained silent. His right-wing coalition, however, has had plenty to say.
The muted response did not extend to Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition, who voiced strong opposition to the agreement. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir rejected any agreement reached “through a third party,” insisting the only acceptable outcome remains Hamas’ destruction. Religious Zionist party minister Orit Strouk described the agreement as “dangerous.”
Despite the criticism, Israel has recently advanced elements of the broader Trump 20-point Gaza plan. The security cabinet approved on Sunday the deployment of a limited international stabilization force – 200 troops from Morocco and Uganda – to enter a pilot zone in Rafah. But the Israeli official described it as an initial and limited measure, stressing that any further deployment would require specific approval from Israel.
An Israeli source familiar with the discussions said Netanyahu is unlikely to publicly oppose the disarmament agreement, as he “calculates that Hamas will ultimately violate its terms and not uphold its commitments.” The source said Netanyahu is unlikely to order a withdrawal from Gaza ahead of October’s elections.
Opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot, currently Netanyahu’s chief electoral challenger, criticized Netanyahu’s silence, accusing him of concealing the deal from the public, saying it “raises serious questions as to whether Israel is a partner to it, or whether, once again, an agreement is being imposed on Israel without its involvement.”

The fund was established in writing. The only way it dies completely instead of remaining “mostly dead” is by ending it in writing.
The fund is mostly dead because a judge has blocked it. But “mostly dead” isn’t the same as dead. Since it was created in writing, the cleanest way to make sure it can’t spring back to life is to end it in writing.
Blanche knows that. Which is why he isn’t committed to ending it completely.
Retiring Senator Thom Tillis responded after Puddle reminded everyone the slush fund still has a heartbeat.

The rest of the tweet says: While I never disagreed that the Biden Administration pursued a number of vindictive prosecutions related to January 6, the criminals who assaulted police officers and defiled our nation’s Capitol are not “great American patriots” who are “victims of government abuse.” Anyone who attacked law enforcement should still be in prison, not getting a check from the federal government. Senator Cornyn and I have been working with Acting AG Todd Blanche to end the Anti Weaponization Fund, and he has been forthright, thoughtful and patient. It’s a shame his confirmation has hit a snag only because an incompetent personal advisor to the President refuses to amend the bogus settlement. I will continue working in good faith to put an end this legal and political albatross and prevent any potential misallocation of taxpayer dollars.
