It’s Monday…

Puddle’s Weekend Meltdown.

Ballroom Bullshit

Presidents are temporarily housed in the White House. Like tenants, they’re supposed to seek permission before making major structural changes.

MAGA and congressional supporters of his big ugly ballroom like to point to former President Obama’s basketball court and Nixon supposedly removing FDR’s indoor pool as proof that presidents have always done this.

Two things.

Obama’s basketball court was temporary. He used the existing tennis court, added basketball court lines, and installed removable backboards. He didn’t tear up the White House grounds to build a new court.

And Nixon did not remove the swimming pool. It’s still there. He had a floor built over it to create space for the expanding White House press corps, leaving the pool intact underneath.

So, no. Painting lines on a tennis court and putting a floor over an existing pool are not remotely the same thing as permanently altering the White House complex for a giant ballroom.

But sure, let’s keep pretending removable basketball hoops are the architectural equivalent of Puddle’s Versailles starter kit.

Let’s talk about me

Weird Shit

I left the above image out of order. It’s important to see just how fucked up Puddle is.

On the left, you have…

Puddle and his gold digger.

On the right, you have…

Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed having lunch in public with his wife.

Puddle posted the above image roughly five hours after posting this…

The don’t call us racist crowd seems to keep posting racist shit. Surprise.

Speaking of polls…

No idea what great poll numbers he’s seeing.

Real Clear Polling Puddle’s average presidential approval rating:

Puddle’s War of Choice with Iran

Yesterday, Puddle talked to his BFF at Axios, Barak Ravid. During their short phone call, Puddle said he was “low-keying it” with Iran…

What he’s saying: “We are low-keying it,” Trump said during a brief phone call.

Axios. 08/09/2026.
  • “We are only semi-negotiating with them. We are just watching Iran with its huge inflation and the fact they have no money.”
  • He stressed that Iran “is in very bad shape” economically and has no money to pay its troops. The U.S. naval blockade has exacerbated the Iranian regime’s economic crisis, Trump said.
  • At the same time, Trump said that with oil down to slightly over $75 a barrel, U.S. consumers are feeling less pain from the war.
  • “It will work out. It always works out. It’s like a chess game,” Trump said of the back-and-forth with Iran.

ABC News Live update thread: (08/10/2026):

Iran’s focus is on Oman Strait of Hormuz talks, official says:

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said at a press conference on Monday that there are no direct negotiations ongoing between Iran and the U.S.

Existing communications are limited only to the exchange of messages through intermediaries, Baqaei said. He added that Tehran’s focus is now “on advancing negotiations with Oman to determine the final destination of the shipping route” through the Strait of Hormuz.

“Management and security of the Strait of Hormuz is Iran’s responsibility,” Baqaei said, adding that Tehran will not allow the strategic waterway to reopen unless the U.S. agrees to key Iranian demands, among them reconstruction funding and the lifting of sanctions.

“According to the agreements, the previous traffic routes will be replaced by a middle and safe route, which will act as a temporary route until a new traffic separation plan is reached,” Baqaei said of the plan under discussion by Iran and Oman.

“The main goal of the ongoing diplomatic negotiations is to reach a lasting understanding with Oman to establish complete security in this vital waterway,” he said.

This morning, Puddle responded to Iran’s demand for compensation.

My Coffee Talk Take:

I hate to phrase it like this, but he started it.

We don’t get to demand compensation for a war we started. A war started against the advice of almost everyone inside his administration. He did it to please his buddy, his pal, accused war criminal Bibi Netanyahu, in hopes of eventually building Puddle Golf in Gaza.

And what has Bibi given him in return…

A big fuck you to Puddle by rejecting the Board of Peace plan for Gaza.

NBC News (08/09/2026):

Israel will not accept the 15-point plan for Gaza set out by President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday.

“I want to clarify this: Israel rejects the 15-point document. I have heard people saying, ‘You didn’t say that.’ So here I am saying it again,” he told a Cabinet meeting, referring to the peace plan set out by Trump last year. “The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is disarmed,” he added.

[snip]

“When I say Hamas must be disarmed, I mean heavy weapons, lighter weapons, all weapons. We are talking about genuine disarmament, not a fictitious one,” Netanyahu said Sunday.

Hamas had last month said that it would disarm, but only after Israel withdraws completely and stops all hostilities. The group also said that laying down its heavy weapons would come later in the process, conditional on the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu, meanwhile, reaffirmed that “as long as I am prime minister, there will be no Palestinian state.” The leader is currently facing a domestic political battle for survival ahead of elections set for October, with the status of the Gaza and Iran wars likely to prove pivotal.

The explicit rejection of the peace plan, frequently touted by Trump as a key foreign policy achievement, also comes after months of growing tensions between the White House and Israel’s leadership over Iran. The White House did not immediately comment on the remarks.

NBC News (08/09/2026).

That’s a wrap. I have frankly run out of fucks to give.
