Second Feature: Green Acres: S2 E1 – Wings Over Hooterville

Lisa attempts to make coffee and cupcakes with questionable success, while Oliver dreams of entering his crop in the Corn Festival. But his pride is larger than the ears themselves. Later, at the general store, Lisa tells the locals how she and Oliver met during WWII. In a flashback, Lisa, a sergeant in the Hungarian Underground who never gives up a chance to introduce some glamour into warfare, rescues Oliver, stuck in a tree after parachuting from his plane. Back in the present, Eb shows up with an ear of Oliver’s corn. Passing around the corn, the locals discover that valley’s crop is threatened by the dreaded “Bing Bug.” With the newfound knowledge of his service as a pilot, Oliver is quickly volunteered for the perilous task of flying the town’s only crop duster. The only problem is, it’s Mr. Haney’s dilapidated (and ancient) biplane. Good thing Oliver knows how to parachute!
