Today, I’m going to be more random than normal.

Let’s go through my morning so far on twitter.

President TACO announces that the US and China have reached the “new” trade framework; it’s the old framework from May, but appears it raised the tariff US consumers pay from 30 percent to 55 percent.

Happened while I was busy placing other things in the article.

Howard “Nutlick” Lutnick told CNBC News that the UK was super nice to them and omg the room they provided was covered in gold leaf…

Show more =’s You know, we’re in a very good position … every inch of the room had golf leaf. It was like the perfect place to negotiate a Donald Trump deal.”

The math here is we still pay higher tariffs than China.

Holy shit he says in the clip that “we don’t want to rush. Donald Trump is never gonna accept a rush. He only accepts the best from us.”

Doesn’t like to rush?

FFS.

On Saturday the military parade to celebrate the TACO’s birthday is not going to be a military parade…

Pam Bondi who cosplays as our US AG announced on Fox Entertainment that a terrible name of a coffee drink is a pressing matter that our DOJ needs to sue for.

So, according to the press release posted on the DOJ website, they are suing because they coffee shop has refused to serve Jewish customers. It also lists the name of the coffee drink; because the name of the coffee drink is as important as the alleged coffee shop turning away two customers by attacking them because they wore hats with the Stars of David on it.

From the DOJ press release:

The Justice Department announced today that it filed a lawsuit against Fathi Abdulrahim Harara and Native Grounds LLC, the owners of the Jerusalem Coffee House in Oakland, California. The lawsuit alleges that the defendants discriminated against Jewish customers, in violation of Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, or national origin in places of public accommodation.

“It is illegal, intolerable, and reprehensible for any American business open to the public to refuse to serve Jewish customers,” said Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “Through our vigorous enforcement of Title II of the Civil Rights Act and other laws prohibiting race and religious discrimination, the Justice Department is committed to combatting anti-Semitism and discrimination and protecting the civil rights of all Americans.”

The lawsuit, filed today in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that defendants discriminated against Jewish customers through policies and practices that denied them the full and equal enjoyment of the Jerusalem Coffee House’s services, accommodations, and privileges. Specifically, the lawsuit alleges that on two separate occasions, Harara ordered Jewish customers — identified because they were wearing baseball caps with Stars of David on them — to leave the coffee house. During one incident, an employee told a Jewish customer who was trying to make a purchase, “You’re the guy with the hat. You’re the Jew. You’re the Zionist.  We don’t want you in our coffee shop. Get out.” During another incident, Harara accused another Jewish customer who was with his five-year-old son of wearing a “Jewish star,” being a “Zionist,” and supporting “genocide.” Harara repeatedly demanded that the customer and his son leave and falsely accused them of “trespassing” to the Oakland police. Neither customer stated anything about their political views to Harara or any other employees while at the coffee house.

The lawsuit also alleges that, on the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, the Jerusalem Coffee House announced two new drinks: “Iced In Tea Fada,” an apparent reference to “intifada,” and “Sweet Sinwar,” an apparent reference to Yahya Sinwar, the former leader of Hamas who orchestrated the attacks on Israel. The lawsuit further alleges that the coffee house’s exterior side wall displays inverted red triangles, a symbol of violence against Jews that has been spraypainted on Jewish homes and synagogues in anti-Semitic attacks.

Under Title II, the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division can obtain injunctive relief that changes policies and practices to remedy the discriminatory conduct. Title II does not authorize the division to obtain monetary damages for customers who are victims of discrimination.

More information about the Civil Rights Division and the laws it enforces is available at http://www.justice.gov/crt. Individuals may report discrimination in places of public accommodation that violates Title II by calling the Justice Department at 1-833-591-0291, or submitting a report online.

I think this is what you call burying the lede; guess we can’t expect more out of our cosplaying AG.

Yesterday, during his political address to “his army” President I don’t Care about the US Constitution, once again said that if you burn an American flag you should go to jail for a year.

Some random person I don’t know seems to think that all “patriots” should support President TACO’s want to jail people for using their 1A right to express disapproval by burning the American flag.

Show more =’s ALL patriots should support this! 🇺🇲

Kenrik is right. Our rights are protected and we as people that respect those rights it matters that we support everyone’s rights even when we disagree with their expressions of those rights.

If I owned a flag, I’d likely have burned it about a month ago on video. Because right now what’s happening in our country, what is being cheered on by other so-called “patriots” and worse “christian’s” is 100 percent anti-American.

The Department of Homeland security is apparently saying they are going to eliminate a grant program that has thwarted attacks in the US.

I replied to Thomas Diltz a random twitter user that did not in fact read the article.

To end the random twitter exercise, I did see something that made me go “awe” in a good way.

During my morning routine of seeing what stupid things I can find on twitter; I also scan the Blender’s comments to see what happened while I was sleeping…

The article was written by 3 people. They quote Sean Spicer in their opening paragraphs.

The scenes in Los Angeles and Washington underscore how Trump is leveraging his role as commander-in-chief in a much clearer and more urgent way than he did during his first term — embodying the image of a strong military commander that he has long admired in other foreign leaders, allies and adversaries alike.

Trump has long seen the military and his command of it as a sign of his own strength and even expressed a sense of ownership over it. During the first term he referred to John Kelly and James Mattis, the retired four-star Marine generals who served in his Cabinet, as “my generals.” Trump allies say time has reinforced that sense and removed any inhibitions, allowing him to expand his role as commander-in-chief even further, whether that’s showing off the military in a parade or using it to quell protests.

“When you have four years out of office, you really have an opportunity to reflect on how you would do the job differently — and I think you see that manifesting itself in countless ways,” said Sean Spicer, who was press secretary during Trump’s first term. “He is much more confident in command.”

And, Spicer added: “He does love being commander in chief.”

In recent days, Trump has mobilized thousands of California’s National Guardsmen and deployed hundreds of Marines — in defiance of Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom — to stamp out protests in Los Angeles over his deportation agenda. It comes as he prepares to preside over a very different show of force on Saturday with the kind of Americana-drenched military parade he has long dreamed of in celebration of the Army’s 250th birthday.

Politico. 06/11/2025.

They end the piece with this quote from a former defense official; “The U.S. military has always been his flex,” one former defense official said of the recent events. “He loves threatening the world with its power. And now he threatens his domestic enemies — which are anyone he casts as liberal or democrat, and anyone who speaks against him.”

I’m not sure why it took three people to write that “article”. I didn’t see it on the front page of their website; I could have just skimmed over it.

This is probably a good time to remind everyone that just yesterday the guy using his leverage of the military with more urgency this term said that if we attempt to protest his birthday parade, that we will be met with “heavy force.”

To finish up the post.

Today, Lenny who does share things with me via DM’s on twitter, posted Jimmy Kimmel’s opener last night; Aaron Herald shared it too, in the Owl…

It’s 11 minutes and change long. But worth the time spent listening.

Speaking of Lenny…

He and ChatGPT have created a new song. He’s putting them on YouTube now as the site he was using won’t let him share links with having to pay for those shares…
