It’s Thursday…
President Shitshow’s public schedule for…

The news cycle today is nothing short of overwhelming: the assassination of Charlie Kirk, another tragic school shooting in Colorado, the 24th anniversary of 9/11, fresh CPI data, the firing of the UK ambassador over ties to Epstein, and the release of disturbing new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s personal Yahoo account that shed more light on Ghislaine Maxwell’s role.
Charlie Kirk, 31, was assassinated Wednesday afternoon on a college campus in Utah. President Let’s Unite in Hating the Left Even More quickly released a four-minute video following his own announcement of Kirk’s death.

TO MY GREAT FELLOW AMERICANS… pic.twitter.com/oRsrE5TTHr
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 11, 2025
To my great fellow Americans, I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah. Charlie inspired millions, and tonight all who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror.
Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate and the country that he loves so much—the United States of America. He fought for liberty, democracy, justice, and the American people. He’s a martyr for truth and freedom—and there has never been anyone who was so respected by youth!
Charlie also is a man of deep–deep faith—and we take comfort in his knowledge that he now at peace with God in heaven. Our prayers are with his wife Erika, the two young beloved children, and his entire family, who he loved more than anything in the world. We ask God to watch over them in this terrible hour of heartache and pain.
This is a dark moment for America. Charlie Kirk traveled the nation, joyfully engaging with everyone interested in good faith debate. His mission was to bring young people into the political process, which he did better than anybody ever, to share his love of country and to spread the simple words of common sense on campuses nationwide. He championed his ideas with courage, logic, humor, and grace.
It’s a long past time for all Americans and media to confront the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree day after day, year after year, in the most hateful and despicable way possible. For years, those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world’s worst mass murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now.
My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.
From the attack on my life in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband and father, to attacks on ICE agents, to the vicious murder of a healthcare executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others in the city of New York, and I’m sure the story and killed in our country, I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died: the value of free speech, citizenship, the rule of law, and the patriotic devotion and love of God.
Charlie was the best in America, and a monster who attacked him was attacking our whole country. An assassin tried to silence him with a bullet, but he failed because together we will ensure that his voice, his message, and legacy will live on for countless generations to come. Today, because this heinous act, Charlie’s voice has become bigger and grander than ever before, and it is not even close.
May God bless his memory, may God watch over his family, and may God bless the United States of America. Thank you.

The FBI offered a short update this morning.

They also said in the presser they have tracked the suspected shooters movements from when he entered the Utah event, from fleeing the roof, to images from neighbors ring cam footage. They will not be releasing any details on the suspected shooter at this time, but urge anyone that has any footage of the event to please send it in.
During an event to mark 9/11 the President said he was “pleased to announce” that Kirk would be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
"We miss him greatly yet I have no doubt that Charlie's voice and the courage he put into the hearts of countless people, especially young people, will live on. I am pleased to announce that I will soon be awarding Charlie Kirk, posthumously, the Presidential Medal of Freedom." pic.twitter.com/Gq3td6JPkX

At least he did it during opening remarks…
But, he really should have waited until a different day.
CPR News (09/10/2025):
The student who opened fire Wednesday at Evergreen High School, injuring two other students, died Wednesday night of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.
One student remained in critical condition, according to doctors, while another was discharged from the hospital overnight to continue recovery from injuries.
The sheriff said the shooter was a 16-year-old male.
He had fired a revolver at students at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, bringing scores of first responders to the school.
Three students — including the shooter — were treated at CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital for gunshot wounds. A fourth student took themselves to the hospital with injuries sustained while escaping the high school and fleeing to a nearby elementary school.

AP News (09/10/2025):
The teens were originally listed in critical condition, St. Anthony Hospital CEO Kevin Cullinan said. Their ages were not released.
By early evening, one teen was in stable condition with what Dr. Brian Blackwood, the hospital’s trauma director, described as non-life threatening injuries. He declined to provide more details.
BLS.gov released the Consumer Price Index report this morning.

The charts:
A few quick charts. First, the big picture: Overall consumer prices were up 2.9 percent from a year earlier. Over the past three months, prices have risen at a 3.5 percent annual rate. https://t.co/XJM0b9ZQCk pic.twitter.com/G6sviHRtvs

The exact timing varies, but prices are now clearly rising for tariff-exposed items like furniture and apparel. pic.twitter.com/nizETnQS77

You can see this clearly in this chart of core goods vs core services. Falling goods prices were key to bringing down inflation last year, but that's over now. And now services inflation is no longer cooling. pic.twitter.com/yOpQXcGjGL

Bottom line: Inflation is still way down from its peak. There's no sign it's taking off in a huge way. And the recent increase is in part driven by one-off factors. But it's moving in the wrong direction — and you can no longer say "there's no sign of tariffs in the inflation… pic.twitter.com/daIPQxzTfN

It’s not the peak inflation of 2022, but from my experience this is hurting me, and others, more.
The reason…
Tariffs. That’s it, that’s the reason. When blanket tariffs are a thing we have to pay for imports, our costs go up and there is no “buy cheaper” or even “do without”. We are stick with higher prices on everything.

On this side of the pond…
Maxwell has maintained she was kept in the dark about details of Epstein's initial sexual abuse case in the mid-2000s. Yet the emails demonstrate her deep knowledge of the legal jeopardy he faced and show how she helped him strategize over even the most consequential details.

The emails reference President Donald Trump three times. Trump has said that his friendship with Epstein ended before Epstein was charged with sex crimes.

Cayne died in 2021. Staley did not respond to a request for comment. “Plse review list and add or remove peeps,” Maxwell wrote. “Remove trump,” Epstein responded. The pair discussed additions to the list and at least one other deletion.

The linked article was not paywalled for me.
Today is September 11th. It’s hard to believe it’s been 24 years since that morning when our country was shaken to its core. We remember the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93—brought down in Pennsylvania by brave passengers who refused to let terrorists claim more lives. The memories are still heavy, and the grief never really goes away, but neither does the resilience we saw in the days that followed.
On Tuesday, 39 more names were added to the memorial wall at FDNY Headquarters. The wall serves to remember those members who died of World Trade Center related illness. I found this this morning. I haven’t been able to watch the whole thing.
Here’s a feed to today’s memorial.
