Nothing says Happy Constitution Day quite like a government official deciding whose speech gets silenced. Brendan Carr — yes, the same guy who helped write part of Project 2025 (pg. 877 of the PDF search bar) — must’ve read the First Amendment and thought it was more of a Yelp review than the law of the land.

On Wednesday morning FCC Commissioner Carr spoke with pay check signed by Russia Benny Johnson.

Chairman Brendan Carr calls Kimmel’s malicious lies are “truly sick” and says they should result in Kimmel’s immediate suspension and may lead to ABC losing its broadcast license.

Chairman Carr confirms the agency has a “strong case” to hold Kimmel, ABC, and Disney accountable for spreading dangerous, politically motivated misinformation.

“This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”

“They have a license granted by us at the FCC, and that comes with it an obligation to operate in the public interest.”

“There are calls for Kimmel to be fired. I think you could certainly see a path forward for suspension over this.”

“The FCC could make a strong argument that this is sort of an intentional effort to mislead the American people about a very core fundamental fact, a very important matter.”

“Disney needs to see some change here, but the individual licensed stations that are taking their content, it’s time for them to step up and say this, you know, garbage to the extent that that’s what comes down the pipe in the future isn’t something that we think serves the needs of our local communities. What Jimmy Kimmel said: We hit some new lows this weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and put everything they can to score political points from it. On Friday, the White House flew the flags at half-staff which got some criticism but on a human level you can see how hard the President is taking this…

It was announced later Wednesday that Nexstar media would not be airing Jimmy Kimmels show because of his “sick” comments. Sinclair media followed suit. ABC following Nexstar’s and Sinclair’s decision decided to pause Kimmels show; he wasn’t cancelled–they just aren’t going to air the show for now or ever again depending on the fallout.

Anyway, following the news that ABC had paused Kimmel’s show, President Who Pisses All Over the Constitution celebrated it while threatening other talk show hosts.

Speaking of lies…

The MAGA-verse insists Kimmel got yanked for lying to his audience — because apparently, sharing an opinion is now considered a high crime in their fairy-tale world.

It’s about time ABC took a stand against the BS that too many mainstream reporters, or “comedians” spread. Kimmel can criticize conservatives all he wants. But even he should have told the truth.

This morning…

He rambles about how he won the 2020 Presidential Election “big.” He continues to lie, saying, “We’ve solved inflation, we’ve solved prices,” and something about gas and energy being down.

In a plot twist we all saw coming…

Jake Tapper — who we love to hate because he’s still refusing to cover President Losing-His-Shit statements, yet gets credit when he actually calls it like it is — posted a video clip explaining that Nexstar not only needs the FCC to approve a merger with Tenga, but also to raise the cap on how much media one company can own. That’s how Kimmel got preempted: their profit-and-media-control bottom line squared off against the Constitution… and, unsurprisingly, the Constitution got steamrolled.

President That Has No Fucks to Give about the Constitution was asked about Kimmel this morning during his presser from the UK.

Narrator: Kimmel was not even fired for anything. His show was not aired because the government is the business of extortion and silencing people they don’t like.

Speaking of trying to silence…

President DonFather — the guy who treats the Constitution like a menu he can pick and choose from — has decided to try to slap the label “MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION” on Antifa. Because of course, silencing dissent matters more than reality. Let’s be clear — Antifa is not a super PAC or a .org; it’s people who loudly fight fascism. Yes, there are assholes in black who start shit they shouldn’t, and those people get arrested and charged for their crimes. But they are not a terrorist group. We are antifa — which apparently makes us a “MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION” on this blog if the right snowflakes complain that I call Nazi Miller–Nazi Miller or Trump and his admin the fascists they so clearly are. Because nothing says “terror threat” like calling out fascists and telling the truth
