It’s Thursday…
President Shitshow’s public schedule for…

I had a plan. A real one. With structure and flow and everything.
Then tech decided to take a swan dive into a trash compactor.
So instead of the neatly-arranged piece I intended, we’re doing this the old-fashioned way: vibes, duct tape, and whatever transcripts the machine spit out.
It’s fine. We adapt. Let’s begin.
Mike “I Have No Johnson” Johnson
Speaker Mike Johnson was asked about Wednesday’s Supreme Court oral arguments on the President’s authority to slap blanket tariffs on all imports. Johnson said he’s confident the Court’s majority will back him up and rule that this administration can do basically whatever it wants under executive authority.
The Constitution, precedent, checks and balances… all those fiddly little details? Apparently optional.
Johnson: If I felt like the executive branch had overstepped on tariffs, I would’ve stepped in. That’s my job. I would’ve done it in my own way, I would’ve gone to the President privately. I wouldn’t have done it publicly. That conversation didn’t happen because I believe what… pic.twitter.com/zyTClK1sgL

I don’t read too much into the questions. This is how the process works. I’m sure the court will look at this very carefully and deliberately as they do. And I expect that we have a majority of the court that says that this administration is doing what they have the legal authority to do. If I felt like the executive branch had overstepped its bounds on trade or tariffs or something, I would’ve stepped in. That’s my job as Speaker of the House. I would’ve done it my own way. I would’ve gone to the President privately. I wouldn’t have done it publicly. That conversation didn’t happen because I believe what he’s done is well within the bounds.
I had GROK transcribe this it’s not 100 percent accurate–the gist is there.
“Pelosi: Not Far Left Enough (According to Mike ‘Everything Is Neo-Marxism’ Johnson)”
Johnson reacted to Nancy Pelosi’s retirement announcement by claiming she’s not “far left enough” for San Francisco anymore.
Sure. Let’s pretend an 85-year-old stepping down from a job she’s held since before half of Congress existed is actually a secret ideological purge.
Johnson: Former speaker Nancy Pelosi announced her retirement this morning. That's a very important sign that I hope you all will look into. Even the famous San Francisco liberal is not far left enough for the neo marxists. pic.twitter.com/UhW61CSc1o

Pelosi’s retirement isn’t about the left moving past her.
It’s about Johnson needing the story to be that so he can keep casting the world in a tidy good-versus-evil morality play where he is courageously holding the line.
He can’t allow a version of politics where people simply age, finish a career, and leave.
Because that would imply he will eventually be replaced too.
And his ego cannot live in that universe.
“The 50¢ Victory Parade”
Trump is now claiming that Thanksgiving will be cheaper this year than “under Biden,” based on a Walmart promo meal.
A promo meal that is cheaper because it contains less food than last year.
So the big economic win he’s bragging about is… shrinkflation.

What Walmart said in October…
Walmart today announced the return of its beloved annual Thanksgiving meal, with its best offer yet. This incredible basket offers over 20 national and private brand items — including a Butterball turkey for $.97 per pound, its lowest price since 2019 — as a one-click basket serving 10 people for less than $40. It’s also offering free express delivery on the meal basket for first-time Pickup and Delivery customers.
This year, Walmart is raising the standard even higher — with the most affordable holiday meal yet. Walmart’s 2025 abundant meal basket offers traditional favorites across national and private brands, for a full holiday feast serving 10 people for under $4.00 per person — the lowest price since Walmart started the program!

This was supposed to go on longer, but the day didn’t cooperate. A medical situation in the Oval took priority and everything else got washed off the board. It wasn’t Trump, but it was serious, and until we know what’s actually happening there’s no point filling the air with takes. We’ll resume when the situation settles and the facts land.
