It’s Wednesday…

President Shitshow’s public schedule for…

03/04/2026:

Ratepayer Protection Pledge:

During the State of DisUnion Warmonger announced the Ratepayer Protection Pledge:

Warmonger:

Many Americans are also concerned that energy demand from AI data centers could unfairly drive up their electric utility bills. Tonight, I’m pleased to announce that I have negotiated the new Ratepayer Protection Pledge. You know what that is. We’re telling the major tech companies that they have the obligation to provide for their own power needs.

They can build their own power plants as part of their factory, so that no one’s prices will go up, and in many cases, prices of electricity will go down for the community and very substantially down. This is a unique strategy never used in this country before. We have an old grid. It could never handle the kind of numbers, the amount of electricity that’s needed.

So I’m telling them they can build their own plant. They’re going to produce their own electricity. It will ensure the company’s ability to get electricity while at the same time, lowering prices of electricity for you and could be very substantial for all of your cities and towns. You’re going to see some good things happen over the next number of years.

RollCall.com 02/24/2026.

Based on the announcement, the idea seems to be that big tech companies building AI data centers would cover 100 percent of the electricity costs needed to run those facilities instead of those costs getting passed on to regular utility customers.

But there’s no policy text or formal plan yet. We may get more details later today… or we may not. That part remains to be seen.

It’s likely Propaganda Barbie mentions the pledge during today’s lie to the press briefing.

US/Israel war on Iran

Secretary of Defense Pete “B-movie actor” Hegshit said stupid shit to the press this morning.

Show more =’s Our rules of engagement are bold, precise, and designed to unleash American power, not shackle it. This was never meant to be a fair fight, and it is not a fair fight. We are punching them while they’re down, which is exactly how it should be.

We did better than 2003’s attack on Iraq, so there!

Jonesing for more death and violence!

Show more =’s Sure, Iran will still be able to shoot some missiles and still be able to launch one way attack drones at civilian targets, and their proxies will attempt to attack our embassies, bases and soft targets. They are terrorists, after all, and they need to target civilians because they can’t fight toe to toe. But we will find them and we will kill them.

Show more =’s But try for once to report the reality.

For clarity Hegseth said that shit, just before the Joint Chief of Staffs named four of the six service members killed.

Show more =’s Capt. Cody Khork Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor Sgt. Declan Coady To the families of our fallen, we grieve with you today.”

Mid-term Primary Day.

The most watched race was the Democratic Senate primary between Rep. Jasmine Crockett and James Talarico.

Talarico won.

The New York Times election results:

This morning Crockett conceded and endorsed Talarico.

Show more =’s With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win. I’m committed to doing my part and will continue working to elect democrats up and down the ballot.

Talarico will face either the Republican incumbent Senator John Cornyn or Asshole Ken Paxton after the

forced runoff.

New York Times election results:

I want to take a second to stress; in order to finally turn something in Texas purple Texas peeps must show up in the general. Staying home or voting for someone not named Talarico means Texas zero toward the color purple.

For time we turn to Dave Wasserman for his “I’ve seen enough” tweets…

Decision Desk:

Texas has taken a lot of ink and seems to have the highest number of runs happening.

That’s a wrap. I’ll try again to cover Cosplay DHS Secretary Noem’s terrible showing before the Senate and House tomorrow.
