Tired of your standard, manufactured American corporate pop, music fans have been slowly discovering K-Pop. Even if they don’t understand the language people enjoy K-Pop for its unique charm.

Wait…you thought I meant Korean Pop?

Nope. Klingon Pop.

For the uninitiated, Klingons are a race of warrior aliens created for the Star Trek television series. In order to add realism, an actual linguist was commissioned to create the entire language, with its own grammar and alphabet. There are even Klingon lessons available through Duolingo and Rosetta Stone.

And, where there’s a language, there’s music.

Paying homage to the biggest Korean pop song of recent history, Comediva produced “Klingon Style”:
