Thursday embattled FBI agent Peter Strzok’s is scheduled to testify at a joint hearing before the House Judiciary and Oversight committees.
Strozk’s has already testified behind closed doors in what was reported to be eleven hours of both classified and unclassified sessions regarding his “anti-Trump texts messages to former FBI lawyer Lisa Page.
Page was subpoenaed by the House Judiciary Committee and was scheduled to appear on Wednesday on the Hill. Page was not interviewed.
Page’s lawyer explained via CNN, that they had arrived at the FBI to review the “materials that were previously produced to Congress,” but after waiting three hours and provided with none of the requested materials they asked the committee to schedule another date, giving Page and her lawyer time to prepare for the interview, “The Committees have not honored this request. As a result, Lisa is not going to appear for an interview at this time.”
The hearing is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. eastern time/ 7 a.m pacific time.
