White House logistical group has been sent to Singapore, led by Joe Hagin the White House deputy chief of staff for operations.

On October 7, 2016 the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence issued a joint letter on Election Security warning States that Russia might try and interfere with voting machines, though the letter is clear, that while some states noticed hacking attempts, none were successful.

Prior to the public warning, Russia was warned privately through our government to not interfere with the elections.

After the election a declassified report was made public, “Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions
in Recent US Elections”: The Analytic Process and Cyber Incident Attribution.” the report details Russian On-line interference with the 2016 election.

In December before leaving office then President Obama imposes sanctions against nine Russian entities and individuals believed to be behind Cyber-attacks against the U.S. election process. He also expeled thirty-five diplomats. The Guardian has a list of those sanctioned.

George Papadopoulos plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his contact with Russian operatives.

Michael Flynn plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with a Russian Ambassador.

Alex van der Zwaan, the Dutch Lawyer, who is also the son-in-law of one of the richest men in Russia, plead guilty to lying to Mueller’s investigators, about his contact with Rick Gates and a Urkraine businessman during the 2016 election cycle. Zwaan is also the first person to report to jail to serve his thirty day sentence, plus he has been fined  $20,000 dollars.

Rick Gates in February plead guilty to one count lying to the FBI and one count of conspiracy against the United States.

Paul Manafort former Trump campigan manager is facing charges in two states, D.C. and Virginia.

Richard Pinedo a CA man plead guilty to an identity theft charge. Pinedo is connected to the 13 Russian’s indicted for, among other things, conspiracy against the Unite States specifically related to the 2016 election.
