Retired Navy Seal Britt Slabinski was honored on Thursday for his heroic efforts in 2002 battle in the Afghan war, known as the Battle of Roberts Ridge, Slabinski spoke with CBS news’s David Martin recounting the battle, were seven service members were killed, he told Martin, “Not a day goes by — not a day goes by that I don’t think of it. Not a day. The magnitude of what we lost there is what I want people to focus on, because that’s what I carry with me every day,”

The Democrats are now alluding to the the concept that having an Informant placed in an opposing party’s campaign is different than having a Spy, as illegal as that may be. But what about an “Informant” who is paid a fortune and who “sets up” way earlier than the Russian Hoax?

On Thursday selected lawmakers met with DOJ and FBI officials to review documents about “spy” inside the Trump campaign, among those lawmakers was Rep Devin Nunes (R-CA), who after the meeting did not give a statement to the press. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was also in attendance and told the press present, via CBS news, “Today’s Gang of 8 briefing was conducted to ensure protection of sources and methods. Nothing we heard today has changed our view that there is no evidence to support any allegation that the FBI or any intelligence agency placed a spy in the Trump campaign or other wise to failed follow appropriate procedures and protocols.” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) attended the second meeting, offered these words, “I cannot and will not comment on a classified session.”
Can anyone even imagine having Spies placed in a competing campaign, by the people and party in absolute power, for the sole purpose of political advantage and gain? And to think that the party in question, even with the expenditure of far more money, LOST!

On Thursday President Trump sent a letter to North Korea covered @ The News Blender cancelling the June 12th summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Late Thursday First Vice Foreign Minster Kim Kye Gwan offered a statement via KCNA media. The statement starts with, “The historic summit is now high on the agenda between the DPRK and the US, and the preparations for it are being pushed forward at the final stage amid the remarkably great concern of the world.” Gwan explains the suddenness of President Trump’s cancellation,
“But suddenly, President of the United States of America (Donald) Trump made public his official stand on May 24 to cancel the DPRK-US summit that had already been made a fait accompli.” He adds speaking to the President’s cancelling:
His sudden and unilateral announcement to cancel the summit is something unexpected to us and we can not but feel great regret for it. It is hard to guess the reasons. It could be that he lacked the will for the summit or he might not have felt confident.
Gwan then explains North Korea’s willingness to talk about meeting with President Trump, “The first meeting would not solve all, but solving even one at a time in a phased way would make the relations get better rather than making them get worse. The US should ponder over it. We would like to make known to the US side once again that we have the intent to sit with the US side to solve problems regardless of ways at any time.” Gwan’s full statement @ The Straits Times.
