VA nominee Ronny Jackson’s Confirmation Hearing Postponed

When President Trump fired VA Secretary David Shulkin he took to twitter to announce his new Pick,

Rear Admiral Ronny L. Jackson MD, has served under three presidents, becoming Physician to the President in 2013, under Former President Barrack Obama.

Jackson made headlines holding an hour long Q&A over President Trump’s health,

“It is called genetics”

“I’ve got to know him pretty well. And I had absolutely no concerns about his cognitive ability or his, you know, his neurological function,”

Jackson’s nomination was already facing tough opposition, given his current position is overseeing fifty staff members, whereas the VA employees close to 375,000 and has a budget of 200 billion dollars.

Sources familiar with the tales say that Tester’s staff is reviewing multiple allegations of a “hostile work environment.” The accusations include “excessive drinking on the job, improperly dispensing meds,” said one of the people familiar, who was granted anonymity to speak frankly about the situation. The other people familiar with the stories also confirmed those details.

If proven true, “it’ll sink his nomination,” said one of the sources.
