On Thursday @ 9:30 a.m. est. at a hearing on “Oversight of FBI and DOJ Actions Surrounding the 2016 Election,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray are expected to testify.
The testimony before the full committee is regarding the findings contained in the Inspector General’s report, released on June 14th.
Deputy AG Rosenstein and FBI Director Wray’s testimony comes the day after FBI Agent Peter Strzok, who sent “anti-trump,” texts messages, testified in a closed door hearing.
CNN reported Wednesday that Strzok spoke with lawmakers, in both classified and unclassified sessions for 11 hours.
Democrats are now calling for the unclassified transcript to be released.
Nadler and Cummings call on Goodlatte and Gowdy to release transcript of unclassified Peter Strzok interview: “We believe the American people should be allowed to see today’s unclassified transcript so they can see the Republicans’ desperation for themselves.”
