On Monday Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced to the White House press pool who will be on the team that oversees the selection and confirmation process of the nominee that would replace a retiring Justice Kennedy on the Supreme Court.

Don McGhan, White House counsel will oversee selection and overall confirmation process.
Deputy Press Secretary Rah Shah will take a leave of absence from his current role to “oversee communications strategy and messaging coordination with Capital Hill allies,” Sanders said.
Director of the White House’s office of public liaison, Justin Clark, will oversee outreach to “key constituencies, coalitions, grassroots orgs., and allies.”
Sanders finished the announcement by saying, via the linked CNN article,”The White House Counsel’s office is overseeing a team of White House and Administration personnel from offices within the EEOB. Teams of attorneys from the White House Counsel’s Office and Department of Justice are working to ensure the President has all the information he needs to choose his nominee. The Department of Justice is fully engaged to support the nomination and confirmation efforts.”
President Trump has promised via twitter, that he will announce his nominee for the vacated Supreme Court seat, by July 9th, 2018.
