MSNBC — Omarosa vs Lara Trump
Omarosa was once again on TV, promoting her new book, Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House, and as she’s done in the past, she released another audio recording she made in secret.
This time the target was Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law to President Trump, wife to Eric Trump, and Trump Campaign member.
The audio recording centers around Lara Trump’s offer to join the campaign making $15,000 dollars a month. A offer that came within days of her being fired from the White House for what, as The News Blender reported, was “integrity,” issues, according to Chief of Staff John Kelly.
The offer appeared to be based on the idea that Omarosa was going to start talking to the press, about her time as President Trump’s White House aide. Lara Trump tells Omarosa, “keep it positive,” in regards to Omarosa accepting the job with the campaign.
The Hill, Lara Trump issued a statement, “Woman to woman, I shared a connection with Omarosa as a friend and a campaign sister, and I am absolutely shocked and saddened by her betrayal and violation on a deeply personal level. I hope it’s all worth it for you, Omarosa, because some things you just can’t put a price on.”
The GOP has pushed back against Omarosa, hitting her with her own words of praise for President Trump, “Guess she forgot about these tapes,” is a digital ad that was released via Twitter

In response to the GOP ad, which dropped during her appearance on MSNBC, Omarosa said, “my tapes are better than theirs.”

"My tapes are better than theirs." She is referring to a new RNC video compilation of her saying positive things about .@realDonaldTrump
The President also weighed-in on the ad, “Thank you…”
Thank you for the kind words Omarosa! https://t.co/PMmNG6iIsi

There is more to the interview than just the Lara Trump tape, Omraosa once again admits to meeting with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office, which is investigating if there are any Trump campaign ties to Russia’s interference in our 2016 presidential election. She also again stated that President Trump knew in advance before the hacked DNC emails were released about the hacked DNC emails. Though she declined to offer whether or not she had evidence on one of her “many,” audio recordings that back-up that claim. There is also reference to the RNC filing an arbitration suit against Omarosa, and a reference to a Vanity Fair article, that alleges, President Trump is “fuming,” about the book, according to one Republican briefed on the conversations, President Trump has told aides he “wants Attorney General Jeff Sessions to arrest her,” what exactly the charge(s) would be is unclear.
