The News Blender — It’s unclear what IG report President Trump is talking about. The IG released a report in earlier June that discussed political bias of FBI agents, but found no evidence that political bias played a role in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails nor the early stages of the Russian investigation. What the IG did find was that FBI agents mixed personal chatter in with business chatter and has referred back to the FBI, the private use of the emails, instant messages, and texts messages, for investigation, “The OIG found no evidence to connect the political views expressed by these employees with the specific investigative decisions, but referred five employees for investigation into whether the messages violated the FBI’s Offense Codes and Penalty Guidelines.” It was more than five employees, earlier in the report, it also referred, former Director Comey, FBI agent Strzok, former FBI attorney Page, and former Deputy Director McCabe, back to the FBI for investigation to see if their use of private emails went against department policy and guidelines.

The News Blender — In light of President Trump’s tariffs on steel and aluminum the European Union retaliated with tariffs of their own, this “trade war,” has prompted companies to shift expectations of profits, caused one nail company in Missouri to lay-off works, and make plans to shut the doors on their company by Labor Day, it’s also raised prices on construction costs. Harley-Davidson announced in late June, that based on the “trade war,” the company would have to shift production of some not all, but some motorcycles the company intends to sell overseas will have to be made outside the U.S.. The company is also absorbing the higher cost at this time, versus passing the cost onto the consumer.
The News Blender — Above in a tweet it’s explained the Inspector General concluded that while the FBI/DOJ mishandled aspects of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, they found no political bias as a motivation for their missteps.
