Omarosa Meets The Press

Former Apprentice star, former President Trump White House aide, Omarosa Manigault-Newman appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press with host Chuck Todd on Sunday.

Her appearance on the show was to promote her new book Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.

The News Blender reported on Saturday that while typically a “tell-all” book from a former White House staff member is only a “minor media event,” the release of this former White House staff member has caused a stir among those in the White House, with President Trump even calling her a “lowlife,” on Saturday during an event from his property in New Jersey

Sunday’s appearance is once again causing a stir, this time, for Chief of Staff John Kelly, who according to Omarosa was recorded while firing her from the White House, a firing that took place in the Situation Room.

In this twenty-second clip, Kelly, tells Omarosa he’s firing her because of “integrity issues”

In this two-minute and seventeen second clip, Kelly talks about how both sides should play her departure as “friendly,” the recording ends with Kelly saying, “And then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation.”

In the same clip Todd plays the portion where Omarosa, speaks with Kelly, she asks, “is the President aware,” he explains this is a “non-negotiable discussion,” she asks Kelly, why she is being fired, he says, “we can, we can talk another time. This has to do with some pretty serious — integrity violations. So, I’ll let it go at that. So the staff and everyone on the staff works for me not the President.”

For What It’s Worth — The Situation Room, is a secure room, no electronic  devices are supposed to be allowed inside that room, not matter who it is, and both Omarosa and Kelly, can face serious consequences for the recording that was played on National TV, if in fact that recording was taken inside that national security room.
