Jessica Manafort, former Trump campaign manager and convicted felon Paul Manafort’s daughter, has filed paperwork with the Manhattan Supreme Court to officially change her name, The Hill reports.
She is seeking to take her mother’s maiden name, Bond.
“I would like my new name to be Jessica Anne Bond, in place of my present name,” the 36-year-old wrote in the filing, adding that it “more closely suits [her] profession.”

Jessica, a filmmaker, released a film titled “Rosy” under the pseudonym “Jess Bond” just before her father went to trial in Alexandria, Virginia. She told the LA Times in July that she was in the process of changing her name and that she is not hiding but rather separating herself from everything that is going on.
“I am a passionate liberal and a registered Democrat and this has been difficult for me. Although I am ‘the daughter of,’ I am very much my own person and hopefully people can realize that,” Manafort said.

Jessica’s controversial father, Paul Manafort, was found guilty on eight charges of bank and tax fraud and faces a second trial in DC on a range of charges. The DC trial is scheduled to start on September 24.
The judge has not yet approved Jessica’s request to change her name which was filed on Friday.
