FLOTUS spends $95,000 on Hotel for Six Hour Stay in Egypt
According to USA Spending, a government spending report shows Melania Trump’s first solo trip last month, billed as her “African tour” “in an effort to demonstrate to the world that “we care”” that her six-hour stop in Cairo cost tax payers $95,050, Quartz reported Wednesday.
The US first lady and her entourage racked up the tab at the Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo, which offers rooms starting at $119. The hotel’s presidential suite can be rented for $699, which includes $156.50 in taxes, per the property’s website.
A spokeswoman for the first lady says Trump was in Cairo for six hours and didn’t actually spend the night at the hotel.

After traveling to “Ghana, Malawi, and Kenya” on her “we care” tour, the press asked Trump about her “decision to wear a jacket reading, “I really don’t care. Do U?”,” to which she replied, “I wish people would focus on what I do, not what I wear. (Her plea has not been heeded.)”*

The first Census Citizenship question lawsuit starts Monday. The US Supreme Court has lifted their stay and the trial will go forward as scheduled in the US District Court with Judge Jesse Furman presiding.

Militia “offers to help stop caravan”
According to a Houston Chronicle report via Associate Press, groups who call themselves the militia “offers to help stop caravan” are raising concern for locals at the border.

Three activists told The Associated Press that they were going to the border or organizing others, and groups on Facebook have posted dire warnings about the caravan. One said it was “imperative that we have boots on the ground.” Another wrote: “WAR! SECURE THE BORDER NOW!”

On A Side Note (Opinion)
*Hard to not focus on what she’s wearing when she seemingly is either completely tone deaf to the world, her own husband’s horrid behaviors and racist rhetoric, or she’s doing it on purpose.
My vote is the latter of those three choices. It defies logic she doesn’t know. She knows exactly what she is doing with her choices. To buy that she is just a victim of people picking on her smacks of the echo of all that is Trump. She’s as bad as he is.
