41st President To Lie in State

The 41st President of the United States of America, George H.W. Bush made his final journey to Washington D.C., following his death on Friday at the age of 94. 

He will lie in state in the rotunda of the Capital, NBC Washington reports from 7:30 p.m. on Monday until 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday. 

There will be a short ceremony where it’s expected Vice President Mike Pence will offer remarks.

Following this week’s State Funeral events, President Bush will be laid to rest next to his wife Barbara and daughter Robin, at College Station, Texas in the family burial plot next to his presidential library and museum.
