Did you know the FBI and Secret Service play an annual charity hockey game?

According to CNN, they’ve been heating up the ice for more than 10 years.

By the way, Mueller plays.

Mueller, who played hockey during his college years at Princeton University, faced off against special agent James Meehan of the Secret Service in a ceremonial puck drop before the game.

The two teams, made up of agents from the different organizations, have been playing against each other for more than 10 years. They raise money for different charitable causes for either FBI or Secret Service agents.

This year, organizers asked for a $5 donation from attendants, with the money raised going to Keith Rile, a Secret Service agent diagnosed with cancer.

“The FBI is a family; the Secret Service is a family. We work together every day of the year, and one day we come together to have this friendly rivalry,” FBI director Robert Mueller told CNN. “We’re all here to support him and support his family”

The Secret Service won this year in overtime with the winning goal scored with 58 seconds left on the clock for a final of 7-6.

Did you know you can 3-D print a “vegan steak?”

Would you try this?

Did you know “Goodyear unveiled a new concept tire that could double as a propeller and help cars fly?”

Cool, faster please.

Flying cars, though still very much science fiction, could one day disrupt Goodyear’s tire business. If flying cars ever take over the roadways — and skyways — Goodyear would want a chunk of that market.

The company has designed an airless tire, called the Goodyear Aero, which would double as a propeller. The Aero tires would have bladed spokes that act as a fan allowing the wheels to flip upward and help propel a car into the air.

CNN

Goodyear displayed their Aero design at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. While some aviation experts have doubts “the propeller-tire hybrid could ever make it off the ground and withstand the high rotational speeds needed to lift the car into the air,” there are parts of its design that resembles existing technology in cars on the road today.

For example, “Aero tires would have a combination of optical sensing and artificial intelligence to monitor the condition of the tires and communicate with other cars and infrastructure. Some cars today have the ability to communicate to one another to help avoid accidents. And some cars have air-pressure sensors in tires to inform drivers of low pressure or blowouts.”

Goodyear has a track record of unveiling its “moonshot ideas at the show.” At 2016’s show they showcased a conceptual design of spherical tires, saying “if we’re going to reinvent the car, we might as well reinvent the tires too.” In 2018’s, it was “moss-filled tires to strip carbon dioxide from the air.”

Did you know Zuckface Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg lost some money last year?

Has anyone bothered checking his “charity?” Asking for a friend.

Mark Zuckerberg had a rough 2018. Facebook was plagued by scandal and data breaches, and Zuckerberg’s wealth shrank along with his company’s fortunes.

The Facebook CEO’s net worth fell by $9 billion. He slipped three places on the Forbes 2018 global billionaires list, which the publication released Tuesday. The magazine now estimates Zuckerberg’s net worth to be $62.3 billion — down from $71 billion last year.

Facebook (FB) had a brutal 2018: The company was battered with data breaches and multiple government investigations into its practices. Its stock lost more than a fifth of its value.

Zuckerberg’s wealth is tied to Facebook’s performance because he owns nearly 17% of the stock, according to Forbes.

Did you know that an anonymous person just spent $19 million on a one-of-a-kind car? But it is a Bugatti, so it’s okay.

Based on nearly the same design as the basic model of Bugatti Chiron’s 1500 horsepower 16-cylinder engine for $3 million, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire – which just means ‘the black car’ – “sets a new bar in price and exclusivity” costing “€16.7 million, or almost $19 million, including taxes. Before taxes, the car cost $12.5 million.”

According to Bugatti, La Voiture Noire is the most expensive new car ever sold and only one will be made. Bugatti did not reveal the identity of the buyer. It is someone with an enormous attachment to the Bugatti brand, the automaker said. It’s also clearly someone with immense financial resources.

Bugatti’s new La Voiture Noire is designed to recall the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic of the 1930s. Only four of those cars were made and, today, they’re among the most valuable cars in the world. They can be worth more than $50 million, according to Hagerty Insurance, a company that tracks collector car values. One of those cars became known as “La Voiture Noire” which means simply, the black car. Only three are known to survive. The fourth seems to have disappeared shortly before the German invasion of France during World War II. Its whereabouts remain unknown.

The Type 57 SC Atlantic was designed by Jean Bugatti, son of Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti, at a time when the bodies for most high-end cars were created by separate body makers rather than by the automobile companies themselves. Jean Bugatti designed some of the most beautiful cars ever seen for his father’s firm.
