Trump Tweets: Bad Trump Story

It’s Monday.

President Trump after traveling to Alabama on Friday headed to Florida where he spent his weekend golfing and tweeting.

For a look at the weekend tweets and re-tweets @realDonaldTrump.

So far for Monday the President has tweeted three times and re-tweeted twice.

1. I quickly referred to Tim + Apple as Tim/Apple as an easy way to save time & words.

Wednesday President Trump held a meeting with the American Workforce Policy Board, during the meeting he referred to the CEO for Apple, Tim Cook, as Tim Apple.

From The White House transcript:

Trump:  Well, thank you very much, Johnny.  And we’re going to be opening up the labor forces, because we have to.  We have so many companies coming.  People like Tim, you’re expanding all over and doing things that I really wanted you to right from the beginning.  I used to say, “Tim, you got to start doing it over here.”  And you really have.  I mean, you’ve really put a big investment in our country.  We appreciate it very much, Tim — Apple.

Axios reported Sunday that on Friday during an RNC donor event that was hosted, “under a tent erected over the pool at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida,” the President told the gathered donors that he simply said Cook, softly and really fast, and reporting otherwise was just more “fake news.”

One donor is quoted by Axios as saying, “I just thought, why would you lie about that. It doesn’t even matter!”

Gee I wonder why he would lie? (opinion)

2. O.K. with me!

Well as long as it’s okay with King President Trump…

3. not Constitutionality and Precedent.

The President is referring to the upcoming Senate vote on whether or not to support a House passed Resolution that stops President Trump’s announced National Emergency on building a Southern Border Wall, by diverting funds from other areas, in a way that would go around Congress.

President Trump has said he will veto the Resolution if it passes the Senate.

I’ll just leave this here.

He has re-tweeted twice so far, first from Ronna McDaniel the RNC Chairwoman, and second from Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ).
