It's been more than three months since Sarah Sanders held a White House press briefing, according to NBC News.

According to the White House YouTube Channel the last official press briefing was held on March 11, 2019.
In January the President tweeted that the Press Secretary had been told by him to not go to the podium in the White House press room because the media is “rude.”
The reason Sarah Sanders does not go to the “podium” much anymore is that the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately, in particular certain members of the press. I told her not to bother, the word gets out anyway! Most will never cover us fairly & hence, the term, Fake News!

Some Twitter thoughts on Sander’s departure.
I'm not going to believe that Sarah Huckabee Sanders is leaving as White House press secretary until she denies it herself.

Trump just announced that @PressSec Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be leaving the White House. Asked to comment, Sanders remarked, "That's what the President has said, but I have no way of independently confirming, isn't that your job?"
