Trump Tweets “I Did Nothing Wrong,” for Friday’s Open Thread

For Finally Friday, the President has tweeted 13 times and retweeted 42 times, so far. *His total as of 9:00 a.m. CA time is 55 total tweets and retweets.*

Matthew “Not Florida Rep.” Gertz of Media Matters, who I often use to show where the President obtained quotes or information, explained via Twitter that the President set a record yesterday for “most Fox live tweets in a day,” so historic.

On Wednesday the President via Twitter announced that he would be attending the annual event.

This is the second time in 24 hours that President Trump tweeted about the 21 states Attorney Generals that submitted a letter to the Senate on Wednesday urging the Senate to reject the Articles of Impeachment against President Trump.

As the News Blender explained in Thursday’s Trump Tweets thread, 1,027 former Federal Prosecutors sent an open letter to the House in May of 2019 that explained based on the Mueller Report, “any other person not covered by the Office of Legal Counsel policy against indicting a sitting President,” would result in multiple felony charges for Obstruction of Justice.

NOTE: Gertz is incorrect about the order of the tweets, the Graham tweeted quote came before the two live tweets he mentioned. I have verified this via the time stamp on Twitter, checked the Trump Twitter Archive, and Factba.se.

As a reminder Hunter Biden is not now nor has he ever been a public official. He is a private citizen, the government, aside from the IRS, has zero business demanding he answer for how come he was paid a fee to sit on the board of the Ukrainian based gas company Burisma.

Gertz is correct about where the President heard Graham’s quote.

Carter Page was not charged with a crime relating to his contact with the Russian government.

Let it sink in America that our President who faces possible removal from Office after having been Impeached in the House, is worried about how his lawyers might play to a lower watched T.V. audience.

I agree that American’s need to watch the Senate Trial as it’s history in the making, however, at the end of the day it’s the Senators that vote, and as many of us here can testify to, our Senators, be them Democrats or Republicans alike, often times ignore the will of the people. It’s a feature not a bug. So those that need convinced will be sitting in the Senate chamber listening to President Trump’s legal team.

According to Trump Twitter Archive, this is the 14th time President Trump has said he did nothing wrong.

Only two were not related to Impeachment.
