Before we get to the 11 tweets and 1 retweet so far for Thursday, it should be noted that President Trump had a historic Wednesday/Tuesday or more accurately a 24 hour period on Twitter.
Trump breaks his own Twitter record with 132 tweets or retweets as of 4:45 p.m., the most of any single day of his presidency, as he defended himself and lashed out at the House managers.

Trump has just set a new tweeting record for his presidency, according to @FactbaseFeed: 125 tweets and counting today. 110 of them have been retweets. His previous record was 123 on December 12, 94 of them retweets.
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) January 22, 2020
Trump's final tweet count for the day was 142, the most of his presidency and the second-most of his Twitter career, @FactbaseFeed says. Eighteen originals, 124 retweets.
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) January 23, 2020
To answer a question that's come in, 41 tweets in an hour (12-1 am ET / 6-7 am Davos) isn't even in the top 5 for @realDonaldTrump . The most tweets in an hour was 58, 7-8 am ET on 12/12/19 … 1 per 62 sec. This am Davos time was 1 per 88 sec #themoreyouknow (up to 132 today)
— Factba.se (@FactbaseFeed) January 22, 2020
142 tweets on @realDonaldTrump and holding as of 6:35 pm… 124 retweets. 161 is the number to hit to tie 1/5/15's record…
— Factba.se (@FactbaseFeed) January 22, 2020
I’m not very familiar with the format of Factba.se, however, their count is pretty close to not only my own count, but also that of Trump Twitter Archive which has the 24-hour period of historic tweeting and retweeting from President Trump as 147, including 20 original tweets.
The reason for the two tweets or so off, is simply that time zones are real, the Archive uses Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The other reason is that the Archive also includes in their count the deleted tweets. But, having said that it’s accurate to say the President through tweets and retweets over a 24-hour period melted down on Twitter to express his unhappiness with the Democrats opening arguments during the 3rd day of the Senate Impeachment Trial.
Thursday’s Tweets.
So far all but two tweets are Impeachment related tweets.

Impeachment is not based on criminality, though there is a case that the withheld aid was done illegal, according to the Government Accountability Office.
The point of Impeachment is to remove from power a person who has abused their position, whether that be a Justice, Vice President, or President. At the end if President Trump is removed from Office, he will not be sent to prison for his Abuse of Power or Obstructing of Congress, he will simply not be the President anymore, and his Vice President, Mike Pence, will be. Impeachment also bars the Impeached person from holding elected office again.

On Wednesday Fox News reported that 21 states Attorneys General submitted a letter to the Senate that was obtained by Fox News, that “urged the chamber conducting Trump’s trial to “reject” the impeachment articles.”
The Republican attorneys general, in a letter submitted to the Senate Wednesday morning and obtained by Fox News, urged the chamber conducting Trump’s trial to “reject” the impeachment articles.
Fox News 01/22/2020.
I’m truly shocked that Republicans are against a Republican President’s removal. 🙄
More from the article:
The GOP letter was signed by the attorneys general of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia.
Fox News 01/22/2020.
On December 16th, 2019 The Hill reported that 700 historians “urged the House of Representatives to vote to impeach President Trump, writing in a public letter that Trump’s disregard for the rule of law represents a “clear and present danger to the Constitution.””
On May 6th, 2019, posted on Medium.com, former Federal Prosecutors issued a statement following the release of the Mueller Report, in which they explain, “the conduct of President Trump described in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report would, in the case of any other person not covered by the Office of Legal Counsel policy against indicting a sitting President, result in multiple felony charges for obstruction of justice.”
The list of names those that served under both Republicans and Democrats stands at 1,027 names signing onto that statement.
But yeah, let’s celebrate the 21 Republicans Attorney General’s submitting a letter to the Senate.

The Fox News Chyron reads “Schiff Accuses Trump of trying to ‘cheat’ for 2020.
Considering that the phone call Memorandum states specifically former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, need investigated by Ukraine, it’s a pretty safe bet to assume the President’s intent was to help his 2020 campaign and not in fact, simply to investigate “corruption in Ukraine.”
As a reminder in all this Impeachment stuff, the President and his Administration actively sought to cover-up the President’s asking Ukraine to investigate the Biden’s and Crowdstrike.
They attempted to bury a Whistleblower compliant that expressed concern over the President’s demand that Ukraine in exchange for military aid, and a White House Oval Office visit, would announce publicly an investigation into both the Biden’s and Crowdstrike.
They continue to try and keep the public in the dark by directing first-hand witnesses like former National Security Adviser John Bolton from testifying. They refuse to produce documents that date back months before the actual call took place.
I just feel that there is a lot that is being dismissed regarding the Trump/Ukraine scandal, all of it is relevant to any Impeachment whether it be a Republican or Democrat President.
The Democrat House would not give us lawyers, or not one witness, but now demand that the Republican Senate produce the witnesses that the House never sought, or even asked for? They had their chance, but pretended to rush. Most unfair & corrupt hearing in Congressional history!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 23, 2020
Three witnesses requested by House Republicans testified in House Intel (Morrison, Volker and Hale.) And two GOP witnesses testified before House Judiciary (Turley and Castor). Did the Obama Administration withhold the aid in exchange for investigating a political rival?
There are legit reasons to withhold aid from a country. We can disagree with those reasons, but there is a process in place that allows for an Administration to withhold aid. President Trump did not follow the process, he asked the Ukraine Government to investigate not only his political rival, but a private American Citizen. Again, there is also legal avenues that allow for those types of investigations, not so much the political rival part, but legal statutes in place that do allow for international investigations into corruption. Again, the President did not do that.
The non-Impeachment tweets.
Mini Mike Bloomberg is playing poker with his foolhardy and unsuspecting Democrat rivals. He says that if he loses (he really means when!) in the primaries, he will spend money helping whoever the Democrat nominee is. By doing this, he figures, they won’t hit him as hard….
