Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–7/19/2020

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

October 2016 saw the introduction of a few new groups. Army of Jesus was one with some strange ads. P(1)0005447 targeted not only Christian, but Christians who were also interested in Jesus:

P(1)0005465 sought out those employed by “Jesus Christ is My King”:

P(1)0005457 took an approach I was unfamiliar with–why Jesus loves weaponry:
